Are these long lasting? And also are the UK legal?

Mine burned after 5 months. I barley even use the car.

I am not sure of the exact lifespan, but even the originals last for several years normal use and far longer than the main headlight bulbs . These are well worth the money with enhanced brightness , recommend to replace the main bulb in the same blue upgrade you will really notice the difference as I did on my olf Focus .
