Works well, be mindful of which variations have which ingredients
I got the "Day & Night - New Formulation" variation, and I've used the daytime so far, it did seem to work, but it didn't seem to be as strong as the old formulation I remember. It's important to look at which ingredients each option has. For the one I ordered, the daytime mucinex no longer has the nasal decongestant or the cough suppression ingredients, and the nighttime one no longer has the nasal decongestant either. I'd recommend figuring out which ingredients you're interested in based on your symptoms, and choosing the right medication based on that, instead of going for a brand name when the underlying formulatoin has been changed. The daytime mucinex did still work well for me, but the nighttime one isn't any different than most other night time cold medicines.
