Yes it is in millimeters and centimeters. The answers that say the bottom is inches are incorrect. The bottom is the diameter conversion of the reading on the top side, in cm/mm. So if you wrap it around a pipe, the top side reading would be circumference and bottom side would be diameter.

Yes. If this item remains unchanged from its previous function: 1 side is simple (linear) millimeters; The other side is a circumference-to-diameter scale. This allows you to measure diameter of a round object by doing a "wrap-around" circumference measurement. The scale on the tape already has the mathematical adjustment (Pi, etc) applied. This is the specialty trick that this measuring tape does..

It's the blade style. The W606P has a A15 blade style which is black markings both sides, consecutive inches to 1/16ths, first 12" to 1/32nds on side 1, diameter inches to 1/64ths side 2; blank space ahead of zero. The W606PD has a A16 blade style which is markings on both sides, consecutive inches to 1/16ths, first 12" to 1/32nds on side 1, diameter inches to 1/100ths side 2, blank space ahead of zero. The W606PM has A17 blade style which is markings both sides, consecutive centimeters to millimeters on side 1, diameter to millimeters side 2, numbered in centimeters.
