I recently upgraded my Ender 3 3D printer with the Creality Official Extruder, and I couldn't be happier with the results! This aluminum drive feed Bowden extruder has truly transformed my 3D printing experience, and I'm excited to share my positive experience with it. Easy to install replacement extruder. Be aware that there is not a threaded port for the Bowden tube, instead this extruder holds the tube itself rather than having a brass screw threaded end that clamps the tube in place.

I like it. It works, need to recalibrate the printer to work with it which was hard. I had to run the moto in reverse. It is a shame that ghe design isn't symmetrical so it can't be mounted either way on my printer which is Flsun Q5

Sadly the horribly plasticky extruder that comes as standard with the Ender 3 V2 snapped after a few dozen hours of printing.The plastic cracked around the heat-inset, on the tensioning arm, that is used to hold the drive wheel in place, this meant there was inconsistent tension on the filament so kept getting random under-extrusion during printing. This all-metal (aluminium) extruder is an effective replacement. It is not going to snap,it was easy to fit and just works. It was also a reasonably price, there are other all-metal extruders out there (for the ender3 v2) but they cost more as they come with a bunch of pointless "extra" stuff (nozzles, springs, pneumatic connectors, etc). Basically Creality should have fitted this as standard equipment, it would have added a few pounds to the base cost of the printer but would have been worth it to avoid all the wasted filament and frustration. I am happy with this all-metal extruder.

Arrived quickly, easy to fit apart from the tube connector, not sure what size it is but none of mine fitted and there isn't one supplied. I have ended up using the base plate off my old one.

This is a great upgrade to the plastic version that was supplied with my Voxelab Aquila (which snapped its lever). This is fully aluminium and comes with all the screws, etc, so no need to re-use anything. There are no instructions and so I suggest 1) watch the little video on the Amazon page and 2) take the old one apart as you assemble the new one so that you see where everything goes. You will need a set of small Allen keys (not supplied).

Bought this as an upgrade to the stock extruder, I didn't notice that it didn't have a proper bowden tube connector, just a flimsy rubbish piece of plastic that goes into the extruder instead. The filament does not readily go through this piece of plastic like it does with a proper pneumatic bowden connector, so it has to be taken apart each time you want to put a new role of filament on. It doesn't have a thread inside the place where the pneumatic bowden connector would go, and I have no idea where spare parts would come from when the piece of plastic fails. I am very dissapointed with this, it was expensive and doesn't live up to it's price bracket. It does work though, the metal parts are superior the the plastic ones.

The instructions are not very clear. The product page for this extruder has a video which is very good. I followed it on my phone, wihile constructing the new extruder. I watched a bit then paused and did the next bit and this is how I would recommend people to do this. You'll have to go back and rewatch bits multiple times when you don't understand exactly what the person in the video is doing. I had to think carefully about which screw would be used on which part, and managed to do it first time. Just take your time. Now that I have it fitted, the extruder seems to be working well. I bought this because I had issues with filament not being pulled into the printer properly, and ending up with missing layers in prints, which caused failed prints. The replacement works well, pulls filament into the printer properly and prints complete properly and look good. The red colour doesn't particularly suit the black Ender 3 Pro well, but I didn't buy this for its aesthetics. It's made of aluminium and seems to be reasonably sturdy. Much more so than the original plastic extruder that came with the printer, which the handle on snapped. This seems like it will be strong and last well.

Mon extrudeur d'origine en plastique a cassé, certainement par la chaleur émise par le moteur extrudeur sur lequel il est fixé. Je l'ai reçu très rapidement, installation très facile et re mise en fonction immédiate. parfait J'ajoute un commentaire car j'ai remplacer mon tube guide filament par du capricorn, et attention, l'extrudeur n'est pas fileté pour recevoir l'embout à tube, obligé de conserver le clip d'origine, et comme le capricorn est un peu plus gros que le PTFE, c'est vraiment pas simple à mettre... J'espère que ça va tenir dans le temps...

I used this extruder for a DIY project because it easily mounts on a NEMA 17 stepper motor. The construction is solid. I've had no slipping of the filament in the gears. I was skeptical of the new style PTFE tube connector but so far i have not had any problems. Assembly was easy and it seems to be pretty reliable for my application.
