I upgraded to this TCAIRG Self-Healing Mat from a much cheaper, flimsy version, and the difference is night and day. This mat is an absolute dream to work with! The first thing I noticed was the excellent non-slip backing. It stays perfectly put on my table, which is crucial for safety and making accurate cuts. The surface is smooth but provides just the right amount of grip for my materials. The grid lines are laser-sharp and incredibly useful, with measurements on all sides and 30, 45, and 60-degree angles that have made my projects so much more precise. The 18" x 12" size is the perfect sweet spot—it's large enough to handle a good portion of fabric or multiple sheets of paper, but it doesn't dominate my entire desk. The self-healing property is the real star of the show. My rotary cutter glides across it effortlessly, and the marks from previous projects seem to magically disappear, leaving a clean surface every time. For the price, the quality is exceptional. It's thick, durable, and feels like it will last for years. This mat has genuinely made my sewing and crafting more enjoyable and efficient. This mat is perfect! Its well made, preally thick. Self healing works great 👍 There are so many ways to measure things. This really helps with my diy crafts. I bought the mat for a limited time deal. Only $11!! I originally wanted another magnetic mat but this was way cheaper. I also saw videos of how to diy magnetic mat. Maybe I'll try it with this one!

I won't lie: the main reason I bought this is to have different backgrounds when I'm doing my Youtube videos (I do art and craft) My workhorse green mat is stained with various paints and whatnot, so it doesn't look very nice anymore, but this? It's very pretty, and the two different sides give me more options. I like that there are different markings on each side as well, as I tend to craft-hop, so will find them useful.

Esta tabla de corte cumple con lo prometido. Es flexible, resistente y sus medidas son precisas, lo que la hace muy útil para el trabajo diario en la cocina. En mi caso, llegó con unas pequeñas imperfecciones en uno de los bordes. Aunque estéticamente no es perfecta, no afecta su funcionalidad ni las dimensiones. Personalmente la encontré un poco delgada, pero sigue cumpliendo bien su función. Una opción práctica y funcional si buscas una tabla ligera y manejable.

I wasn't sure what a self healing mat even was, but was told to get one when I got my Cricut. And it's been great!! I can cut right on it and not worry about anything going through the mat. I love all the measurements and markings on it too - very helpful. Would buy again if I had to, but it's holding up so well, I don't see needing another one anytime soon!
