You will likely need to put a few of the wire strands on the outside of the hole, and solder those flat around the base. Then due to the thicker wire insulation, you will need to gently heat the cover to force it on. I heated mine, and used a Phillips screwdriver to gently expand its size at the base enough to then put it on. This makes for some very nice and thick gauge test leads if you are like me and despise trying to use the thinner pre-made ones up near their typical amperage limit and dealing with the resulting voltage drop. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ works well *by on Reviewed in the United States August 1, 2025* i did not care for the screw and soldered in my own wires but these work well with any banana plug system ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy clearly labeled with 3mm maximum wire diameter.
