My husband and I wanted to make a duplo tray for our grandchildren for Christmas. We shopped around for affordable and good quality baseplates. It is more difficult to find duplo base plate than lego. We came across Dynamax 4 pack of 10X20 base plates. Based on the positive reviews we decided to purchase them. They were perfect for our application. They fit the duplo blocks precisely and fit the tray that my husband made perfectly!!We are very pleased with this product and so were the happy recepients of this special Christmas gift!!

Having lived for a time in Denmark with my six children (the home of Lego), building bricks have been an important part of our lives. Now that we have a new grandson, the interest has again surfaced :) Base plates add a whole other dimension to paying with Lego and Duplo blocks. We did a side-by-side comparison between three manufacturers and my kids determined that Brickyard was as good or better than the name brand and the other brand. The Duplo bricks stuck slightly more firmly, which was a plus in their eyes, but were still easy to remove. As far as using a rectangle instead of a square, this was not an issue for them.

My daughter loves building things, especially with legos but we didn't have a foundation for her pieces when we built stuff together. I wanted to get her a base along with extra pieces to go with the Lego Duplo Carousel we were buying her birthday (turned 3) but couldn't find anything namebrand that wasn't too pricy for our budget. That's when I found Brickyard. I initially only wanted to get one base but this was the best deal and gives her more space to work with, which I really liked. I was unsure that these would actually be compatible with Lego Duplo brand pieces but they worked perfectly at a much cheaper price and they are larger than I expected as well! Would easily purchase from them again!

Very compatible with the Lego Duplo bricks. An affordable alternative to the Lego brand bricks though its not the same material. The plastic has a different feel to it. Nothing the kids would notice, its more noticeable to the parents. We will definitely buy more products from this company as playing with anything Lego related or building bricks is a favorite pass time.

We wanted large base plates for our Duplo blocks and didn't want to spend more money on the branded version. This set of 4 was perfect for our needs.Pros:1. They're sturdy.2. The 10x20 size is way, way, way better for Duplo constructions that the 10x10 base plates that are available from other suppliers. A 10x10 plate will barely contain a Duplo project and will be less stable.3. The color combinations in this pack are good.4. The fit was perfect -- the blocks hold as well as could be wished.An observation:As noted by other reviewers, these baseplates won't clip ONTO other Duplo plates or pieces; they're only meant for clipping blocks on top of them. Genuine Lego Duplo plates DO allow both sides to be utilized in that way. That being said, this didn't affect us and we knew about it in advance, so it was a negative for us.

Great addition for your Duplo collection.I first had my doubts about the fit since this is not an original Duplo part but, this base works perfect with the Duplo blocks, as if they were made by the same company.The size is perfect and the base makes playing and creating a lot more fun for the kids.

Nice for building on, but not as thick and sturdy as ones labeled "Premium". With the size they are, when moving the base after building on it, the flexing of the base may make your creation lift from the base in some areas. Just take care when moving it. Kids have called the base colors Land(green), Water(blue) & Lava(red). They don't call the yellow one anything.

The Brickyard compatible baseplate is very strong, perhaps even stronger than the original Lego brand baseplate I purchased five months ago. (I took the original overseas for my three-year old grandson and he loved it.) I needed to buy another baseplate for his recent visit. I went with the Brickyard brand and I am extremely pleased. In fact, I bought two in different colors and attached them to a pin board with double-sided tape. So far, with constant play on a carpeted floor and being stepped on by an active 3-year old and our 65-pound dog it's held up great! It fits nicely with both our Lego Duplo and Mega Blocks. I also appreciate the follow up emails by the Brickyard Company both before and after delivery. I highly recommend this product and company!
