Great reader for government PIV/CAC
This is so much better than the one I got from my agency years ago. It has held up to moving, and being thrown in my work bag. It is easy to use, and since my mac does not have a standard usb is ideal to not use adapters. The card reader has not had issue with reading my government card. It is nice and compact and easy to store, also easy to temporarly lose as well. The only issue was getting ahold of the agency credentials to allow access to the correct networks.

Small but effective. I use this to access email when traveling and it’s the perfect size. I’ve never had issues with it reading my CAC card.

No issues
Works without any issues on my 2019 macBook with government PIV card. I bought this to replace a different brand that kept breaking (plastic snapped). It is not an issue for me since the macBook has 2 USB-C ports on both sides of the laptop, but it does block both ports on one side

Doesn’t whorl with Apple OS
This would have been five stars but it just does not work with apple OS. It’s not supported by my organization.
