A: Yes, it will adhere to vitally any material. The coating will smooth-out at a room temp. application. Do not continue to brush once applied

A: The product I received was very white...

**Q: Can this be used on cdr/dvdr/bd and if so, what's the best method to applying it so there is no brush strokes or other types of application marks?**
A: Yes, yes & yes. The best way to apply, is with a very soft brush. The material will quickly smooth out as soon as it is applied. Do not continue brushing once the area is covered. Let it set at room temp, and it will come out nice and smooth. The surface should be clean and free of debris. There are instructions available on their website for additional instructions.

**Q: Does it dry clear?**
A: No, it dries with a white, matte finish. Ink Aid makes another precoat specifically for drying clear. Amazon used to have it in stock but appears to no longer carry it. I wound up purchasing the Ink Aid "Clear Matte Precoat" directly from their site, which dries with a clear, matte finish.
