Not one seed germinated. Followed directions to the T. Also talked with arborist to make sure I was doing things right. What a ripoff!

Be careful, deceiving or deceptive and misleading information.
This was not what I wanted. I did a search for "Emeral Green" and these are "Green Giants" they get up to 40 feet tall! The pic is deciding and named American so be careful that you mean to order these they get huge. Way too big for what I need and feel the wording and search was misleading, I only caught it when looking for ideal planting info which they don't really send with these, but they do tell you to look for best practices. I get the feeling this is not what most expect. I would say you will be lucky if you get 10% to germinate/sprout and many of those will not make it to a full size tree. Just be aware of what you buy is all I can say. Hope this helps someone and good luck with your future trees.

Planted the seeds - Now, we wait...
I'm planting them for border, property edge, screening. I will keep planting them until they develop into a leafy wall. I'm planting two alternating gap rows so they don't crowd each other. Hopefully, that will help them be healthy. Apparently, they like to be spaced about eight feet or more apart, since they get to be about eight feet in diameter. We'll see!

Know how to grow these before purchasing!
These types of seeds need cold stratification to succeed in germination. Basically recreating winter conditions to break down the seed wall and encourage embryonic growth. This can be achieved through refrigeration in a a damp media(sand, vermiculite, pete). This product gets bad reviews due to this. The seeds are not bad. The grower is uneducated in thier use.

3 of 100 germinated.
I'm no Newby to growing plants.I have been able to germinate and grow some plants that are notoriously difficult and some nearly impossible.Even doing everything properly(stratification etc.) I only got 3 out of 100 seeds to germinate.I expected at least a 10% germination ratio. So I would get your seeds elsewhere because 3% is exceptionally low.
