A have a Mini Pincher and live in a Condo. Sometimes I dont have the opportunity to walk my dog to let him 'do his business'. So I always leave a wee-wee pad on the floor for him to go inside. Not only are these pads superior in quality against anything I've used before, but they are huge in size. They are really absorbent and hold a decent amount of urine. I don't wait for the pad to soaks loads and loads of urine before discarding it. But these do allow me to keep it on the floor some extra time before discarding. I notice like others have said there is much less urine odor around the pad area due to its super absorbency. So now over a month's time, I use about 1/2 the number of pads compared to other brands Ive used before. I did find another use for the pads which seems to work real well. In addition to my dog, I have an African Grey Parrot and always lined the bottom of his cage with newspapers and cage liners. I leaned towards newspapers because they are so much cheaper than cage liners. Recently, I decided to give one of these pads a try to line the bottom of his cage and it works great! It picks up the droppings and food. And on occassion, he likes to use his water dish as a swimming pool He sticks his feet in and starts splashing up a storm. This pad soaked up all the water and made things much easier when cleaning. If you haven't tried this brand before, give it a shot. They are worth the $$$.

A Subscribe & Save regular purchase. & Now I decided to review them because they work fantastically. Now I don't have any dogs, but these pads have come in handy for a lot of different uses. Right off the bat - I'm a cat person & cats inside need a litter box. You know - I once came across an article on how to train cats to use the toliet, well----my cats did not cooperate, the little devils! With cats the problem is where they aim or position themselves inside the litter box & you might guess this, it can end up outside the box. Kittens don't have this problem, but grown cats will often circle around in a box & dig in the corners & then back up & go - right over the side! I then started using boxes with covers, so they were inside when doing their business (I liked this because, well, I didn't want to always see the inside of the litter box) but with three little devils -- there is always one who has a different opinion of what they are going to do -- so the top had to come off. SOLUTION, use these pads under the box to catch overspill. OTHER USES: These pads have come in handy in other ways. 1. Dropped a jar of maniara sauce on the tile floor = used a pad, placed it on top of spill after removing glass chunks with absorbent side down, I then pushed the pad together scooping up the sauce. The floor actually was quite clean afterwards but then I used a spray & floor mop to finish up the job of cleaning. Since that, I've grabbed these with several spills/drops to quickly absorb the liquid it's faster than grabbing a mop & keeps the liquid from spreading out on the floor. 2. Needed to spray paint a small item, used a pad underneath item to protect surface. 3. Use pads when transferring liquids between containers, so any spilt liquid will not roll off of cloth to floor, pads absorb it quickly. 4. Kids projects - place pads on table or floor. Whether coloring or painting or using markers, if they go off target or spill something the pad will absorb it & keep surface protected. This also applies when doing a cooking session with them, put on counter top for flour spills or liquid spills etc. - will speed up cleanup - just roll up pad & toss. If it's just dry ingredients, take over to trash & shake into can & pad can be reused - by the dog as it is still able to absorb. 5. An unexpected use came recently during a heavy rain storm, heavy & long lasting -- a leak, more than one in a section of a room. I laid these out on top of the carpet all around in case more leaks occured - to protect the carpet & show where the leaks were - they also protected from water spray, as water drops into bucket it causes the water to spray around sometimes over the bucket top. 6.(Sensitive Subject) I sometimes transport an elderly person who has issues with being able to hold urine (Hey, as we age things start to not work as they use to) This person wears diapers but when you really go sometimes, well the diaper may not hold it fast enough -- for piece of mind, on long trips we use one of these pads to protect the seat area. This allows the person to get out of the house - sometimes with issues like this they don't want to go out anymore, so having this extra pad lets them know that they won't spoil your carseats if something happens. You'll find all kind of uses for these pads even if you don't have pets.

Puppy tear these up all the time. Probably nothing to do with quality. Absorbing eh. Great for a few time use cheap not bad pee pads though. Might buy again for quantity and size decent price

Over the course of having two indoor chihuahuas I have tried all types of pads. I've tried some from Amazon, some from Pet stores and even tried the cloth pads. Although I did like the cloth pads, I find the convenience of paper pads much easier. These pads are a bit more expensive than smaller pads but the larger size is worth the expense. When I used smaller pads my dogs would often urinate on the edges and miss the target. Even for a chihuahua, the smaller pads don't leave much room to turn around and get comfortable. You know, the million circles a dog does before "settling" into position. The Simple Solution X-Large Training Pads leave plenty of room for dogs to do their business without moving to the edge. I don't have leaking issues with these pads, they absorb a lot of urine and don't smell terribly. Other pads I have tried are almost transparent and you can see the clumps of filling in-between but these pads are a solid white, thick and very well made. Since these pads are larger, they last longer and you don't need to replace them as often which makes up for the cost difference. I highly recommend these pads for small and large dogs alike.

Okay, I am not normally a review writer, at all. But I have to brag on these. First, size, A+. Standard size pads don’t work for my Sadie girl (pembroke welsh corgi) because she cannot aim, gets too close to the edge and then I have pee everywhere anyway. I used it with Go Here attractant, which I have tried with other pads, and it worked perfectly. She never would poop on the pads, but she managed both with this combo. Second, they are a wonderful material. Not to thin, not too thick, they don’t easily wrinkle up like other pads. I also feel like the backing is thick enough that they will not leak through like some cheaper pads. Third, pricing...while these are not the cheapest pads on the market, I feel like the price is totally justified and will continue to be purchasing these. I have a baby due next month, and having simple products like this that actually work and make less housework for me are a must have. If you are contemplating these, do it. Seriously. I never thought I would be this joyous over a dog pad, but here we are.

Purchased these to help cover the floor from our aging kitty cat. He's going on 15 and has completely given up on going to the bathroom in his cat boxes unfortunately. We've been rotating through sizes and brands of puppy pads trying to find the best bang for our buck and I think we've finally found it in these extra large puppy pads. They do hold an incredible amount of liquid and they have not leaked on me once yet so major points to the manufacturer for that. They also are larger than standard puppy pads which means it takes fewer of them to cover danger spots on our living room floor, another plus. The price is about what'd you expect I think so I really can't complain about that at all. Overall this is a good product and I think we'll be purchasing them again soon.
