Solid and clean audio source selector WITH volume control
I got this another unit (both pictured) to compare. I really like the aesthetics of the smaller one better but this one provided volume control and the signal flow was still very clean with no added noise and no volume loss (which sometimes when you add a volume controller you lose some headroom on the max side of the dial- on this unit you do not- 100% volume is truly 100%, at least from a human hearing perspective). The quality of the sound is great, just like a clean pass-through. The build quality is nice but the "feel" of it is only OK. The aesthetics could be better and this feels more like a folded sheetmetal case vs the other unit is a solid machined piece of aluminum with a much more premium feel and weight. If you don't need volume control and want something more premium, I'd go with the other unit. But if volume control is important, this unit is excellent. Easy to use and highly functional. The switching is clean with no static or noise between changing sources.

Works great! No noise or ground loop issues with my setup.
I used this selector on a pair of headphones to listen to a Zoom meeting mix. I can listen to the mix at the mixer before going into Zoom and then I have an iPad hooked up as a Zoom end user for the other input. I can make adjustments on the mixer and switch back and forth. Note that Zoom also does noise reduction and processing in its software so I found that I needed to boost the level on the mixer to compensate for the Zoom processing. There are also adjustments that can be made within Zoom. So getting to hear the mix at different points is very helpful in producing a good Zoom meeting mix.

Great Passive Audio Switch and Volume Control if you use dedicated studio speakers.
If you have multiple computers and multiple monitors with separate studio speakers, this is a good way to switch audio between your computers using one set of speakers. An actual KVM switch that can switch multiple computers and monitors between a single keyboard and mouse with audio switching as well can get very pricey, whereas if you for-go audio switching the price drops and it opens up more options, such as Display Port with HDMI, versus just one or the other. Now there are no active electronics inside this well built sturdy box. So it can’t be used to increase the volume over what is being sent through it. So keep that in mind and set your computer volumes and speaker volume accordingly. Being a passive device it does not degrade the sound quality at all. I can’t speak to the longevity of this device but with some care I would think it would hold up well. At least if it does go bad for some reason it would be fairly inexpensive to replace vs having the audio go out on an expensive KVM. The only caveat is that to switch between your computers you have two operations. This audio system and your KVM switch.

introduces background hum
The switch works BUT it introduces background hum that only goes away if you unplug the other connections making this switch unusuable.

Fine for headphones, speakers not so much.
The switch works fine for headphones, but when I plugged in my speakers (Creative Pebble Pro, powered by a wall outlet) they sounded hollow and tinny. It completely removed all the bass and made them sound like low quality laptop speakers. (If I plug the speakers directly into the computer, they sound fine.) Also, the volume knob doesn't work as expected. Instead of a gradual increase/decrease while turning the knob, it only has about three or four actual levels that change suddenly when the knob hits certain points on the dial. It's functional, but it's not what the design of the volume control suggests you're getting. The metal case seems well constructed and the rubber feet help keep it from moving around too much if it gets bumped. There's no noticeable buzz or hum as others have reported. Not sure it was really worth $25.

Perfect as a mute button for headphones
Works great as a mute button. My old Roku remote doesn't have one and I use it to turn the sound off on my headphones during commercials. It's a life saver! I have pressed the buttons a lot and they still work fine and there's no switching noise at all.

Excellent product and value for money, highly recommend
I fitted this to the back of a vintage radiogram cabinet to split two audio output feeds, one from a turntable; the other from a CD Player, connected to a Sonos Connect:Amp ‘line-in’ input. This unit is a quality product with the ‘feel’ of a more expensive product. The sound quality isn’t affected in any way, with no audible difference from a direct connection and no background noise.

Very robust device!
This device works perfectly! The product is small and slim, allowing it to fit through your mailbox. It works immediately upon plugging it in. The sound quality is, of course, excellent—no noise, just clean audio. The product is built in a robust metal casing and feels very solid. It comes with an 18-month factory warranty. I use the product to switch between audio from my (work) laptop and audio from my (personal) desktop computer. Note that if you’re using a laptop, you need to set the audio output in your settings to the ‘headphones’ option to get sound from the AUX output.

Straszny dźwięk
Dźwięk, który dochodzi, jest bardzo zniekształcony i cichy. Jeśli nawet dotkniesz pokrętła, dźwięk zostanie wyłączony i doda szum.
