As usual, the LEGO products exceed the quality found in many products these days. This battery box, used in conjunction with the LEGO power functions motor will allow the young engineer to put movement in his/her creations. It is very well made and should last with any amount of abuse. You can't go wrong with this item.

I have never had any problem with any of the lego power supplies. i have about a dozen for all my trains, the roller coaster and now the carousel. they all work perfectly.

pros: load it up with 6 eneloops and it will last a long timecons: it's heavy and bulky which makes it hard to integrate with vehicle designs. But what else you gonna use? it'd be nice if they'd make a lipo rechargeable pack.

I like it way better than the small box

my 6yo son picked this out and paid for it with his allowance, and he's renewed his love of legos! Add a a motor, some gears, and he's having so much fun! Lost a star because its big & bulky, without any good ways to attach it to the gizmo he's building

It’s really nice to have when you need it for motorized LEGO creations.

My son used this, along with the LEGO Functions Power Functions Motor, at his Junior First Lego League at school and asked for a set for home, they work well and help him create simple machines with moving parts.
