A: It is not refillable however it is a nice  my daughter seems to like it

**Q: Is it 196 individual pages or 196 pages counting front and back?**
A: Mine had 95 lined sheets (not the 98 needed to make the 196 pages), which makes 190 pages (like pages in a book are numbered.
