Modway MOD-6629-WAL Marlee King Wood Platform Bed with Splayed Legs, Walnut

I really wanted to love this bed, it’s mid century and the color is stunning. However, I’m really disappointed with the quality. I think I got 50 or more splinters putting this together. Things don’t fit right, leading to the bed being warped. There was so, so much hardware that came with this, and somehow it wasn’t enough. We ran out of the parts we needed and somehow had too much of some of the hardware as well. We had to make a trip to a hardware store for more washers just to put it together. I took a chance on this since there was only one review leaving it five stars and nothing written, and I wouldn’t have don’t it again. I like the look now that it’s all done, but it took a little over four hours for two of us to do. You absolutely need a drill to put this together because you will be drilling into the wood, and it’s not easy. But, it’s a good price for a mid century bed and better than what I could find on Overstock or Wayfair. But, I would probably look elsewhere for this type of bed. Two stars only because I like the finished look enough.
