Got it due to modern connectivity (usb-c), plug and play capability, 24-bit audio, and was on 40% off sale. Team members at work and in game chats say they can hear me very clearly, with a lot more range, particularly in the bass tones. Like it so far!

Super sensitive. Took some calibrating to work well with my DAW. Make sure you have ASIO drivers. Great sound. Better value.

I spent 20 years in radio and have been a professional voiceover artist since 2010, so I know a good mic when I hear one. This is a great basic mic if you can get it on sale for $40. At list price, the Rode NT-USB+ sounds better and has many more features. This mic will allow you to record two people at once, one on each side of the mic, for podcasts or interviews.. BUT... it has no noise reduction or echo control software in it, so you must use it in a quiet, well treated space for best results. If you put it on a tabletop in a hard walled conference room, you're going to hear lots of room echo. As with any microphone, the room is critical. A $100 mic in a well treated space will sound better than a $1000 mic in a poor recording environment. I compared this one to the Rode and returned this one because the Rode sounds nearly as good as my U87 clone in my isolation booth. The AKG sounds pretty good, especially for $40, but in a side by side comparison, the Rode is easier to listen to and sounds less strained.

Bought it as replacement mic for my brother for $39 it blows my mind with it build quality. Amazing sound quality. Super sensitive to human voice with almost full range pickup . Can't beat its value for money with its set on desk design that works very well also with pattern select 👍 😀 👌

This is a well-made microphone; feels sturdy, looks good, and has good sound quality. I bought this to replace my 12+ year old Blue Yeti microphone, mostly because I wanted a USB-C microphone that might (I thought) be better overall. It's a good product, but has a significant flaw for anyone who wants to use it for video calls: when you click the mute button, it's quite loudly picked up by the mic, and worse, un-muting has an audible "thump" sound that comes across very loudly. I only want to use mics with mute buttons in a call (so it's great that AKG included that), but I couldn't imagine doing this click/thump to my co-workers multiple times in a call (I mute and un-mute a lot).In the video recording, you can hear the difference between the AKG and the Blue Yeti: the Blue Yeti's mute click is quieter, but more importantly, there's ZERO sound when you un-mute. So, for me, there's no contest and the AKG mic is going back for a refund.To be fair to AKG, I paid 2x more for the Blue Yeti so perhaps this isn't the best comparison, but if a brand new product isn't going to be better than what it's replacing, what's the point in buying it?

Very versatile and great sound quality

Mikrofon jest dość mały, bardzo ładny, solidnie wykonany (dość ciężki) i przede wszystkim nagrywa dobry dzwięk. Brakuje trochę regulacji głośności mikrofonu, jest tylko regulacja głośności słuchawek.Natomiast to co dyskwalifikuje dla mnie ten mikrofon to potworne dudnienie gdy dotyka się powierzchni na ktorej stoi mikrofon, pisze na klawiaturze itp. Jeśli ktoś chce jednocześnie nagrywać i uzywać klawiatury to ten mikrofon sie nie nadaje, najdrobniejsze nawet stuknięcia w biurko czy klawiaturę zmienia się w potężne dudnienie, ramię do mikrofonu nie pomaga chyba ze jest przytwierdzone do czego innego niż biurko z klawiaturą (świetnie to słychać w recenzji na youtube na kanale Creators Village)Zdecydowanie odradzam!

For me as someone who wanted to record vocals for my beginner friendly cover songs found this mic not worth the price yeah good quality sound but it's very weak for my taste ,tbh the sound is bright and thin not rich at all and needs alot of settings if u want a professional sound out of it there are other mics in the same range that sounds better than this one, especially there is no gain control on it at all so to set everything you need a software to get it sound good. + if u planning on investing in an interface in the future this one won't work at all its a usb only mic so u would eventually buy another mic that is mix use or just xlr Also, it's a condenser mic not good in untreated rooms won't sound good as you see in the reviews will pick up everything around you ,so I returned it and decided to up my budget and get moano pd400x after a good research haven't received it yet so can't really speak of it rn, but I am sure it's worth it , if u planning on getting a mic in this price range try the fifine tank ones are the best in this price range ,in my opinion almost bought it but decided to up my budget and invest in better one thats all
