They loved it but I thought it was too expensive and doesn’t even light up. You are probably thinking why did you buy it. It was a 3 week decision to make and child wore me down. Review: Worked just as we hoped it would! - This was bought for my young son for our trip to Universal Orlando. The wand worked wonderfully and he was able to cast all of the spells his little heart desired while we were there. The park staff did tell us that if in fact we did have a malfunctioning wand, they would replace it for us without an issue. It’s pretty durable as well and was dropped a few times without causing any injury to it. It is expensive, but it’ll save you the hassle of standing in line for one when you arrive. Trust me when I say, for that alone you’ll want to buy it beforehand. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01LW33NG0 | | Age Range Description | Kid | | Best Sellers Rank | #717,985 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #807 in Kids' Costume Wands | | Brand Name | UNIVERSAL HOME VIDEO | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 125 Reviews | | Educational Objective | Encourage imaginative play and role-playing, fostering creativity and storytelling skills | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Weight | 0.18 kg | | Manufacturer | Universal Studios | | Manufacturer Part Number | 1279648 | | Manufacturer recommended age | 24 months - 3 years | | Material Type | resin | | Number of Players | 1 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Power Source | battery | | Set Name | Wizarding World of Harry Potter | | Size | Small | | Subject Character | Harry Potter | | Theme | Cartoon, Fantasy | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Images ![Harry Potter Wand Wand Ollivander's Interactive Wand Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61SHZG80gFL.jpg) ![Harry Potter Wand Wand Ollivander's Interactive Wand Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61aM2Txr+yL.jpg) ![Harry Potter Wand Wand Ollivander's Interactive Wand Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81whj-+HfrL.jpg) ![Harry Potter Wand Wand Ollivander's Interactive Wand Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81d7lsRcH0L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: will the wand work at both universal studios Hollywood as well?** A: In universal, yes it will perfectly work as it is an interactive wand. But, in Hollywood there is no Harry Potter themed areas at all. **Q: Does it break easy** A: I have 3 boys under 8 when we bought it and they all used it and it didn't break so I would say no. **Q: Does the wand need to be activated for $8 additional at the parj?** A: No it does not need to be activated. There was a problem with this one not working and the park fixed it for free. No issues at all. **Q: Does it light up? Or can it only be used in the park?** A: No, it won't light up. The wand can only be used at the park ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bought as a gift *by R***9 on June 19, 2024* Bought as a gift for child.
