Good quality and good size for the price

An excellent enclosure even if Chinese!

Very good quality stainless outdoor enclosure. Some of the edges are sharp and should have been filed or de-burred, but this is a minor deficit that can be remedied by a few minutes with a diamond hone or fine grit sanding block. For eas of drilling/tapping, I would have preferred an aluminum mounting plate instead of the heavy gauge (0.07") steel plate included, but this mounting plate is sufficient thick to tap easily unlike the sheet metal thickness plates provided by with enclosures from other vendors. The joints were also fully welded in contrast to the spot welding found on enclosure from other vendors. And this stainless enclosure was about the same cost ($99 for 16"x 12"x 10") as a painted steel model and a small fraction of the cost of similar NEMA enclosures from name brands like Hoffman, Schneider, and Wiegmann.

None of the pictures show it, but you should know there's a rectangular plate that covers a 2x6-3/4 hole in the bottom of the box. That plate, packed badly, scratched up the top of the box inside the styrofoam padding. The so-called key for the latch (NOT A LOCK) is a complete joke. Push on the center of the "lock" with anything, even a gloved thumb, and it turns with a little friction. No need to push in if you have a screwdriver. Think of it as a child-proof medicine cap, not a lock. But it's really sturdy! Lightweight brackets bolt through the back with o-rings to seal around those bolts.

The strength of the enclosure was better than expected. The front door was well aligned and the seal was good. The door latches are a little underwhelming, but at this price point this enclosure is a winner. I installed this at an industrial meat plant and they asked where they could source more because the quality of the panel was good. Watch out on the bottom plate and the backing plate because they have sharp edges that you should remove. I will update my review if it fails in plant. I plan to buy more.

Product is decent. Easy to mount and seals well. Vevor is beyond terrible to deal with. They’ve made me go buy my own parts. And refuse to take back product that’s dead on arrival and offer a partial refund. If you are going to buy, buy through amazon so you can return if there’s an issue.

Great price for a sturdy industrial cabinet. Stainless Steel. Comes with internal plate, mounting hardware, lock and keys .

Very good design. Door seal has a proper amount of compound with no gap. Back-plate is made from the thick steel where I could drill and TAP! holes. The only recommendation to manufacturer is to grind sharp edges. Very easy to cut fingers.
