Needed a replacement, perfect afterwards.
I purchased this keyboard a few months ago as it checked all the boxes I was looking for: brown mechanical switches, white LED back-lighting, full sized board, and good looking. The first unit I got had a dead LED under the F10 key, but Amazon allowed me to return it for a replacement, which is the unit I am using now.The keys are very satisfying to use and are louder than membrane keys when they bottom out. Some of the wider keys (SHIFT, SPACE, etc.) have a very slight springy sound effect to them, though it is barely noticeable. A common complaint I've seen in other reviews is that the symbols on the number row keycaps are reversed compared to other keyboards. Personally, this has never bothered me, even when programming, since it is consistent with every other key having the primary function on the top of the keycap. My only genuine complaint is that three of the keycaps on this unit have small scratches which allow the back-light to bleed through where unintended. The attached image shows this, however it appears exaggerated in the image and is much less noticeable in real life.If you are looking for a keyboard which checks the boxes I mentioned earlier, I would highly recommend giving this a shot.

Nice cheap mechanical keyboard to see if its for you.
This is a rather nice keyboard if you are looking for a cheap entry into mechanical keyboards go ahead and get it. Mine did have a couple quirks though:1. The leds would blink/flicker untill the PC booted up fully. I eventually found that plugging it had something to do with the power being drawn from the USB port for them on startup. Plugging it into a powered USB hub everything works great.2. there was a squeak in the space bar and backspace buttons. Removing the keys and lubing the plastic stabilizers with some WD-40 Specialist Dirt and Dust Resistant Dry Lube PTFE Spray, 10 oz. silenced the squeaks. The lighting effects are great and that it requires no extra software is a plus for me. White is also easier to see in the dark. This is my first mechanical keyboard so I cant compare switch feels. If like me you are coming from a membrane keyboard it would take some getting used to.

best keyboard I have used.
My first mechanical keyboard. I wanted a simple, small footprint, well made with tactile feedback keys. This meet all those goals. I like the key feedback, but as this is my first mechanical keyboard, I have nothing to compare it to, only that I like the feel of it over a membrane keyboard. It is a little loader, obviously, but I am alone in my home office so that is fine and took a little getting used to, but doesn't anything new? I like the aluminum blue skin, nice, elegant, not over the top look. The backlighting is nice, just white, but looks blueish cause of the blue aluminum skin. It is somewhat adjustable and dimmable, enough for me as I don't want and did not want to pay for flashing multicolor lights. Also have not used any macro functions, so can't comment, but again, not something I am all that interested in, this is a tool for my job. Good tactile feel, nice adjustable lighting and no double letter inputs, which I read a lot about when shopping for a keyboard (probably a problem that is very rare, but just pointing out my keyboard has no problem with it.) For the price, seems a good solid keyboard I have used daily for multiple months, so no complaints. Add a USB port and it's a 5-star product. And the only real question that matters I suppose, would I buy it again if mine disappeared suddenly...I would.

feel much better to type on than my old membrane keyboard
I'd been looking at mechanical keyboards for a while and was on the fence about buying one for some time. When I came upon this one, I was very attracted to the aesthetics and small footprint. I wasn't planning on spending this much for a keyboard but something told me to jump the gun on this one even though, at the time, there were no reviews available and apparently this keyboard had just recently been released. This is my first mechanical keyboard so my knowledge of them is still somewhat limited. The brown Outemu switches do not have much if any of an audible click sound when pressed but, to me, feel much better to type on than my old membrane keyboard. The backlighting is very bright, almost too bright by default. There seems to be 6 lighting settings. These can be accessed by holding down fn and tapping the home button. The first one is just all keys lit. Second one is a backlight fade in and out. Third one will light up the keys that you press for a short duration. Forth one is the opposite of the third. All the keys are lit but the ones you press go dark for a duration. Fifth one lights up vertical rows of the keys to the left and right of the key you press and they progress to the sides of the keyboard. The sixth one goes horizontally starting from the top left and does a trail-fade effect across each horizontal row. They switches are mounted into a solid aluminum faceplate which is screwed into a hard plastic base. The base feels very solid and there does not seem to be any sort of flexing when typing or applying pressure of any kind. The provided key puller is clipped onto the back of the keyboard. I actually had to use this as soon as i got the keyboard out of the box because one of the keys was accidentally mounted upside down. Overall, I'm very happy with this compared to my older membrane keyboard. I can actually already feel a little less finger and hand fatigue using this over my old one.
