Great stuff Good Price!!!
It's a good deal for a good blend of Mate. I started out w/yerba that had stems and leaves, since I moved to the leaf only stuff I'd have a hard time going back unless I could buy it locally.Anyone looking at reviews for Yerba Mate who haven't tried it and are looking to find a good replacement for coffee or energy drinks. I'm not a "hippy" as in, I don't usually hype up things like "It's organic and good for your body." because I smoke and eat things that are horrible for me oblivious to the consequences (being the type of in one ear out the other guys in terms of health preachers); be that as it may, I did find that my mood lifted immensely after switching to Yerba and it doesn't have all the junk in it the other stuff does, I was well over a pot of coffee a day or 3 or 4 energy drinks. I don't need as much Yerba Mate and it keeps me focused for longer without the jitters without crashing. Even when extremely exhausted it doesn't leave me feeling strung out, it wakes me up and keeps me going. I personally enjoy the smokey flavor of the drink, but I know it doesn't appeal to everyone. For those, I suggest a sachet of ginger tea to give it a spicy kick that accentuates the taste. I will say, even if you can't buy it locally, it's worth buying online, you WILL still save money over the other 2.

Best Yerba Mate!
I have been drinking Yerba Mate for many years. I prefer the "sin palo" which gives the mate a stronger and more complex taste. Highly recommend

Best Mate! Zero stems!
This is by far the best quality mate I have found. And the Sin-Palo Pure leaf is really what it says, no stems. I recently purchased the Rosamonte Despalada (sin palo version) and was very disappointed with the amount of stems it had. See pic for comparison.

I drink yerba mate daily. Do you?
I prefer this "Leaf" version to the mixed cut ("Con Palo").There are sooooo many health claims for mate. Some claim it cures this or fixes that...Not just from "influencers" and vendors trying to sell you on some special version of mate or mate preparation here in the states, but even in Argentina and Uruguay some people give drinking yerba mate all kinds of crazy health claims. Do I believe any? Nah. I just like it, although it is an acquired taste, I've been drinking it since I was a kid.One thing I can attest: It helps wakes you up and gets you "going" in the morning. Is that a "health claim"?

good value
Every brand of yerba mate seems to get a lot of negative reviews. I took a chance on this Taragui Pure Leaf. The bag arrived in good shape, untorn. The expiration date is a year and a half from now. It tastes good. The internet research on yerba mate explains that this drink from different plants tastes different. This does taste a little different from what I'm used to buying, but it's good. I intend to keep buying 1 kg bags of yerba mate to save money. As far as I can see, this is an excellent product and is wholesome food. The instructions on the package explain how to prepare it, but they are in Spanish. If you can't read Spanish, look it up on the internet. If you steep it in boiling water, and it tastes bad, it's your own fault. Considering that this product was imported from Argentina, I consider the price I paid to be very little.

Excellent price and bold flavors.
Compared to Guayaki's Mate, this is a stronger mate. However, it is very good for its price. This has quite a bold, smoky flavor and will take some getting used to. However if you are a regular mate drinker, you will appreciate this mate. The price point is really great if you drink mate regularly. I decided to try the "Sin Palo" version of this mate and was not disappointing. It is easier to manage inside the Gourd when consumed in large quantities, however you are prone to ingesting more of the mate "leaves" if you don't use a good filter, or a filter protector.I will be definitely be purchasing this product again as the excellent price point and the bold flavor makes this an excellent choice for any mate drinker.

Great value when you drink as much tea as we do!
Initially would buy the regular Taragui Yerba tea until sister sent us a gift of the pure leaf loose tea, NO STEMS!!! Purchase large steeping bags from Japan off of Amazon or EBay, can't remember which and brew two gallons every few days. Great flavor and can be very robust (that is how we prefer it) if left to steep overnight. We sweeten with honey and store in the fridge up to 3 days (we drink a lot of tea). The flavor never changes, like it does with say a Lipton or generic tea product, with extended time in the fridge and the last glass is as delicious as the first! Will only ever buy this Yerba Mate TARAGUI Sin Palo now and in the future!
