Kion Clean Protein Powder, Grass-Fed Whey Isolate, Unflavored

This is the protein powder suggested by my Nutritionist. It's quite pricey but does dilute and mixes well. I got the unflavored because I can put it into anything without losing the flavor of the food.

I put a scoop in my coffee every morning for added protein. It's a little overpriced but I have not had any digestive issues as I have with other brands.

I love the product. Mixes frothy, when it settles, it gets a bit water but a gentle shake and it’s fine. I buy unflavored and I add either my fruit or cacao powder or vanilla extract or coffee extract! I’ve added a spoonful of almond butter as well and every option tastes great. I’ve used with water and ice as well as with milk powder (I like Juddees) and ice. I just am not sure the price is sustainable long term but as long as I can buy this- it is my first choice.

This protein powder tastes great! It’s not chalky, clumpy, or gritty. It’s the best one I have found…and I have tried a lot of protein powders. I don’t like the vanilla flavor because it tastes too much like stevia, but the unflavored and chocolate are soooo good!

The most important features in a protein powder for me are... 1. Amount of protein per serving (do I have to consume a ton of it just to get 20g?). 2. How it affects my stomach (do I get any gi upset?). 3. The price. This crushes the first two - plenty of protein per serving and absolutely no stomach problems at all. It is more expensive than almost every other option, which is why I gave it 4 stars, but personally it's worth it so I will continue to buy it.

I’m not a huge fan of protein powder because it taste grainy. This protein powder is so smooth, I can’t taste it. It almost gives the shake or smoothie a velvet texture. I have no flavor for mine and I enjoy it so much.

****Buyers please be aware and do not buy!!!! ****I have been using this protein powder for about a year but they sent me a rancid product whose expiry date is earlier than the one I was already using. It smells like something no one should put in their body. My older pack smells completely normal and almost has no smell. This is the second time this has happened. This is absolutely unacceptable for the price point. I really loved this protein but disappointed now. Looks like they are trying to get rid of their old stock.
