Thank You, God, For Daddy

This was such a special purchase for Father’s Day, both my husband and my son adored it. It meant a lot to him to receive it, the message in the book is heartwarming and so important to teach to our child! Would highly recommend this for Father’s Day!

We have had this book for awhile I bought it as a Christmas gift from the babies to their dad and now let me just say we love this book! My husband and daughter have the cutest bonding time right before bedtime reading this book. Every night she wants this book. It’s been since December! She’s 2 and loves to pretend to read along. The book itself has nice illustrations and the each page is short enough to capture the attention and heart of our two year old (and my husband too lol) I teared up the first time reading it.

I’m giving 5 stars because this book is wonderfully written and the illustrations are adorable and bring a smile to your face. However, I ordered once and it came damaged. Front cover torn. I returned for another copy. Second one was worse than the first. Torn cover in 2 places and all 4 corners bent and dented. I returned that one for refund. Going elsewhere like Target or BAM. AGAIN, no reflection at all on the book, author/illustrator that’s why the 5 stars. However Amazon’s quality control is ridiculous as is shipping a book in an envelope.

Really good little book. The book consists of simple rhymes about how Daddy loves, serves, protects, teaches, comforts, works, and has super cute and fun illustrations. Told from the kid's point of view. It's sincere and sweet without being flowery. An encouragement for Dad and a reinforcement for baby. The first page is probably unrealistic expectation ("Daddy never lets me down")(idea: just glue it down or make a fun dedication page out of it if it bothers you). The book ends with thanking God for Daddy and telling him that baby loves him "too". It's nice to have a daddy book.

This is the sweetest book to be read to little ones by mommy or daddy! I gave it to my son on the day of our 2 month old grandson's baptism. He is the best daddy to him, his 22 month old and 7 year old sons. Especially meaningful as he was also getting ready to leave on his latest deployment with the military. This will be a simple and sweet book to be read at bedtime or anytime to remind them of their daddy's special love.
