Yamaha YRS-24B Plastic Soprano Recorder, Natural 14.00 x 2.00 x 2.00

I purchased the Yamaha YRS-24B Soprano Descant Recorder, and it’s exactly what I was looking for. It has a nice, clean sound that’s easy to produce, making it great for beginners, students, or anyone wanting to relearn the recorder. The finger holes are comfortable, and the instrument feels lightweight without feeling flimsy. I also appreciate that it comes with a soft storage bag to help keep it clean and protected when not in use. The recorder appears well-made, and the classic ivory color gives it a nice traditional look. Overall, this is a quality recorder at a reasonable price. I’d definitely recommend it for school music classes or casual practice.

My kids love this and play it constantly. Easy to learn and clean. Great quality, very thick and sounds great. Definitely recommend for the price.

Very beautiful color, non traditional school color recorder you usually get. My son lost the one I had purchased for him from school and he also needs it this year so I purchased this one that his music teacher recommended. Playability is just like the ones you order from school. It seems very sturdy too! Would definitely purchase again if this one is ever lost too!

MY DAUGHTER NEEDED THIS FOR HER CLASS AND SHE LOVES IT. IT EVEN CAME WITH A LITTLE CLOTH CASE TO KEEP IT IN GREAT PURCHASE FOR THE PRICE.

My son loves this thing. We bought it for practice and he is a recorder pro!

Works great. Child practices on it and works like the school recorder. It

Simple & inexpensive. My kid loves it!

I am highly satisfied with the musical accuracy and beginner-friendly playability of this Yamaha YRS-24B soprano recorder. Engineered precisely in the key of C with a classic Baroque fingering system, it features an ideal amount of air resistance across the straight windway that allows students to hit clear, pure notes with very little breath. The durable ABS resin construction is non-toxic and holds up beautifully to daily school use, making maintenance completely straightforward since the 3-piece body disassembles easily for soap and water cleaning. The bundle includes an environmentally friendly natural cotton storage bag and a detailed fingering chart, providing an exceptional all-in-one layout that satisfies standard elementary classroom music requirements. It delivers top-tier intonation and reliable quality you would typically expect from a much more expensive wood instrument!

Mio figlio l ha usata per musica scuole medie ed è andata benissimo

The music teacher at my daughter's elementary school requested we purchase a recorder but did not provide any advice on brand or model. We purchased this recorder based on the reviews we read and we're very happy we did. The sound is crisp and clear, listeners can easily distinguish the different notes being played, and the price was very reasonable for the quality. Turns out with the exception of one student, everyone in her class had the same recorder! I recommend this recorder to any parent looking for one for their child's music class. If this is not the "industry standard" for elementary school music classes, it should be.

Good product I like it so much

This is the specific recorder that was required for my child's booklist, the "soprano" type, and I couldn't find it in local stores so I was stoked to find it on Amazon. Excellent quality, as you'd expect from Yamaha, and a nice storage pouch.
