Worth Home Matte Black Pendant Recessed Can Conversion Kit Adapter Only

This is a genius invention. Upgraded a boring can light over my kitchen sink. No tools or electrical skills required. Took a few minutes to get it attached and get the canopy to fit snug on the ceiling. I think it looks great. Too bad I didn't invent this! Used a shade i purchased also on Amazon. It was cheaper than buying the entire system on the Worth Home website.

I absolutely love these!! I never heard of them or knew anything like this existed!! The lighting in my house is horrendous so we have finally got around to painting and I was trying to find a solution for the lighting . Came across these - bought two heavy glass 8in bulbs to go with them. They are such great value for the money. Perfect size !! Mount ability was so easy!! Plastic doesn’t look cheap and holds the heavy glass like a champ!! I did accidentally hang them to low so I have to take them up a bit and I got fingerprints all over my new glass bulbs but I absolutely love them and took my super cheap DIY kitchen makeover to the next level and I can actually see . I’ll post a before and after paint/lights. It’s not much and definitely not done by someone who knows how to “makeover” anything but I love these!!!! I have already recommended these to many people who didn’t know something like this was around either! I love them!! Functionality as well as look is so amazing !!! Will be ordering more

WOW, these are amazing, I did entire thing myself and it went smoothly, Assembly was simple with a globe I bought separately, got up on my ladder screwed this in to my can socket and hung this perfect, the hardest part was I did buy 2 of them for over my island and getting them to hang exactly the same length was a challenge. But I did manage to.

Easy to install as our existing lights had been converted from can lighting to pendant lights. One of the few pendants that had a cover as wide as this one and was the color I was looking for.

I love this product. I purchased four for my hallway. Very easy to install. Customer service was wonderful. I may buy more!

Works as it should; easy solution to upgrade can light. Found the “shoulders” of the screw in part to be too wide for my can but I made it work. That’s likely user-error on my part.

Super easy to install and looks very clean! The cable is adjustable as well, amazing solution to transform can lights to a hanging pendant light. I’d be careful with the weight of the pendant you use but it does feel sturdier than I expected.

First of all, it's way too much cord for the average consumer application. Its also not a good design they chosen for dealing with excess cord you don't need. Theres nothing holding the cord in place while you struggle to screw on the bulb and get proper placement over your can opening. So you have to use a rubber band or a velcro cord wrap to keep the cord secure. Then you need to measure how much extention you need on the bulb for it to reach and screw in flush AHEAD of time. You can try doing it with a little too much and then just push it in like they make it seem. Most can houses are mounted to resist gravity NOT to tolerate force coming from the direction of the floor. So your housing us going to shift around just enough to prevent you from getting a flush seamless look if you try to push against it after you screw in the bulb. The plate portion that goes against the ceiling looks peculiar because it's so large. The cord that hangs down is literally just a black extension cord so it looks cheap and it never fully relaxes to being straight. The black fitting used to hold your chosen shade is very sketchy. I wouldn't trust it with a glass shade. The extra white screw on one that's truly secure they include as an alternative, shows completely if you use it and looks ridiculous. Add all those issues to the fact this fixture is $35-$40 PLUS still needs a shade, Which will cost you a minimum $20 and something nice you like is going to be $30-$50 Making this "easy" conversion not economically sound AT ALL youre better off getting the $16 conversion kit that has mounting bracket/white rim adapter/wiring adapter at a home improvement store (same one is twice the price on here) and then just purchase a normal pendant fixture that comes with a shade Total investment will be the same but you'll end up with a proper attractive functional drop or pendant light. This could have been a great item. However instead its Grade A on concept, Grade D on execution
