Di Negris Fruttati Balsamic Pear Vinegar, 8-Ounce

I thought that the price was steep. However, I had pear infused balsamic vinegar while staying in Florida and I couldn't find it anywhere locally. This is truly delicious stuff. We had it drizzled over buffalo mozzarella with sliced tomatoes and basil. We then had it on salad with toasted pecans. It elevated both dishes. The taste is smooth and a touch fruity with depth to it. And best of all... you can use it sparingly and still get a lot of flavor. When we do run out... I will be buying more.

Nothing great

One word, YUM. I dream about my salad at dinner during the day. The pear and balsalmic taste are heaven. I can't find this locally, so when I am halfway through the bottle, I always order more. It can be pricey but we are on this earth for a short time and this vinegar is the best.

Originally I found this flavor by Rienzi but have a hard time finding it again. This is a delicious replacement. Excellent with most any salad or cheese. I highly recommend.

I have used balsamic vinegar for many years. Have tried many brands, many kinds. I am not an expert by any means, just know what I prefer. I realize this is pear, not grape. I think this brand is good, just not great. The sweetness pretty much squashes the vinegar totally. I will use it for fruit, maybe some cheeses. But for me I don't think I would use it for meats, which is my favorite way to use balsamic vinegar. It's just way too sweet. My husband really, really loves balsamic vinegar and he cannot stand this one at all.

We love balsamic vinegar so I thought I'd try this variety. I was impressed at the notable quality difference between this and our regular store bought stuff. The pear is very subtle, barely noticeable really. But still great quality and recommended if you want something fancy.
