Works real good

I have had a Watts Premier RO unit for 4 years. Instead of blindly changing this at 2 years I bought a TDS meter and checked every 6 months with the other filter changes. About a month after my annual filter change my water started tasting bad and I went from 94% rejection to 50% rejection. I bought one of these on Amazon and I went back to 92-94%. You have to flush a few tanks to see the better TDS and rejection rates. We have very hard water, 900ppm coming in. Was 470ppm with old filter, 270ppm after replacing filter and doing one flush and 70ppm after two flushes. This price was the same as buying direct from manufacturer but I prefer Prime shipping and ability to return easier. I am very satisifed with this. BTW I've been adding up the cost of the filters over 4 years, and it works out to $.24/day to run this before changing the membrane, and $.29 after. Worth it.

These fit the watts units that have been (probably still are) sold in Costco stores (Costco Hawaii in my case). The thing that sets these apart from many other systems is the "snap in" replacement system. You don't have to turn off the water supply and you don't have to have the large plastic wrench to unscrew filters. You just push a button, pop out the old filter and then pop in the new one. Only a tiny amount of water drips out (from the initial pressure it was under) during the process but no water will come out while a filter is removed. Genius. Just put a towel under it when you change it out and the process will just take seconds.

We chose Watts Premier RO PURE due to its ease of filter replacement. We've recently purchased a TDS meter and the reading came out at 001 after replacing all of the filters. It doesn't do the best job but it does a good job. The cap was broken on this product when it arrived so it had been exposed to air, I am not sure if that has something to do with it or not. Because we use this for both drinking and top of water for a marine aquarium, we ended up buying a Spectrapure DI add on to use just for the aquarium. Now the TDS reads 0.

We just had to replace our membrane since buying this model. Does the trick just like the one that came with the filter kit. I highly, highly recommend drinking RO water, and this is an excellent model and membrane. Our water is almost at max. acceptable hardness (we need to get a softener bad), and our first membrane still lasted a good bit - a little longer than the minimum which can be rare with water as hard as ours.

I have had my Watts Premier RO system for over 4 years now and have had to replace my membrane filter twice. I bought the system at Costco and like many people I was disappointed that they stopped selling the replacements in the store. I searched around when it came for my second membrane exchange and I found this replacement which was the best deal at the time. I ended up buying my other filter replacements from Costco online and had all of my filters for 2 years for under $100. If you follow the directions the replacement should go off without a hitch!

All watts products are well made, have a furnace humidifier by watts also. Never a problem with this filter, very simple to change.

It is exactly like the original for a lot less money than elswhere. Installed with a click and works fine.

The membrane arrived and was shrink-wrap sealed with the cap on top. Price was very good at the time of ordering it. I would order the membrane or other filters in the future from this supplier.
