The tees are also shorter. I'm not sure how they'd fair in that application. However, I used this pipe to build a clothing rack with shelves and it's sturdy enough to hold over 150lbs without any issues. If your intentions are for something of this nature, its fairly priced and a quality product. I was short some nipples and bought a 2nd batch. Slight variation in the lengths in doing that. Otherwise, no issues.
