As mentioned in Title, it's a good stabilizer at reasonable price. Initially I was not able to stabilize and understand how it's going to work and it was not working. Later understood about the button on the back of handle where we keep a finger. It automatically stabilizes and keep the phone in correct direction and orientation. I also tried a quick video and it's also stabilizes the video much better than phones internal stabilizer. I mean this stabilizer and phones I ternal stabilizer both works and makes a better video. Negative side is that sometimes it doesn't work and may be that's because of the learning curve needed to use this stabilizer. The material quality is good and the grip is also nice in hand. The grip is necessary in case of long time video recording. The tripod below the handle is also useful to take group selfie by keeping it on flat surface. But that small negativity is ok for the other good part including the price and good quality material used. I would have given 4 star but 5 stars because of other positives. Update: there are stabilizing weights and we need to calibrate the stabilizer. After adding the weights and calibration, it worked fine so it's good.

This is a piece of equipment for sure; not just a small plastic gimbal. It did not work well with a large Samsung phone wrapped with an otterbox but it worked great with a standard iphone. After taking it on a trip, found that it works great for stabilization but it is bulky. It is kind of awkward on a tour group where you have this giant gimbal to take video; it looks "dorky". Using the built-in tripod to take time lapse video was outstanding; specifically being able to take a moving time lapse where the camera shifts to different points on the horizon. It has some other great features to play with and the battery life was excellent. Overall, this was a good introduction into a gimbal for a hobbiest.

I used this for our Christmas Eve family dinner party. It made the best family video I ever took. Set it down in three different places never pausing it for 2 1/5 hrs. Set it to face detection. It just quietly moved around randomly finding faces. Moves at a perfect smooth speed when moving to a new face. It caught so much random footage for memories that will last for generations that keep the video. Also used to take photo clips from the video. Use YouTube for instructions and lessons. Also videos are added into the app for a fast refresher if needed. Great price for what you get. It really is easy to use, but seems tricky directly out of the box. Play around with it while watching YouTube, and you'll get the feel after a few uses. My photos came from the video.

Can’t figure out how to use this vertically? We’re in the day and age of vertical reels and tik toks and it’s almost impossible?

Ordered for a YouTube project. After many hours of watching videos I came to the realization that the best and most informative video will get skipped if the camera is bouncing all over the place or shaking. I set out to find a stabilizer that was reliable but didn't cost an arm and a leg (this is a hobby not an income source) Used during a ghost town tour and even with the rough terrain and me bouncing all over the place, the camera stayed solid. About 2 hours into using it, it kind of quit working but a quick restart resolved that issue. Before the first use it needs to be calibrated for your phone. If you plan to use a plug in wireless microphone, you need to calibrate it with the dongle installed. Any time a weight change is made on the phone, it will need to be recalibrated. The initial calibration is time consuming and kind of a pain. There are lots of YouTube videos that walk you through the process. The first time you calibrate, make sure you have time and access to YouTube. After the first time it gets so much easier! This came in a nice protective hard case. The case is kind of large and I wish they would have left provisions to add other items into the case (like the wireless microphones, charge cables/blocks etc.)to make travel a little less bulky and more convenient. This is a must have if you want to start a YouTube channel. The price isn't super restrictive and it make a night and day difference on video quality!

This is quite possibly the worst combination of best hardware and worst software I've ever experienced. You can clearly tell the hardware, the gimbal itself, is high quality and well made. However, the app is so horrendous that you cannot get a functioning video More than once without the app freezing, necessitating a complete reboot of my Pixel 7. Company originally sent me a used/reverb package and charge me full price, I was just going to have them exchange for a new item, but this software / app is so bad, I'm just going to cancel everything.
