I couldn't be happier or more impressed. I had tried the Fr*ud/D*ablo nets (probably a decade or more ago) but they were a miserable disaster and total waste of money, so my expectations were pretty low concerning these nets from 3M. Well, these net discs are fantastic; I'll never go back to regular paper/cloth-backed discs again. No more useless clogged discs, no more 12K RPM disc projectiles, no more 5-minute gritless discs, this is a really superior product for an excellent price. When sanding over numerous pine knots in several grits, there is zero resin loading on the disc. The durability of these discs and the grit retention is insanely good, regular discs can't even begin to compare. What's crazy is that these net discs are similar in price to average, and below average, regular AO discs. You can't lose. It doesn't occur often but, in this instance, performance exceeds cost. Good job 3M. I have soft density interface pads on all my H&L sanders. Adding that sponge cushion buffer to your backing pad makes the work so much easier and they add life to the primary pad. Sanding contours or rolling edges is so much smoother. With these discs on buffer pads, you can do anything and do it well. After 50+ years of woodworking I'm pretty depressed that I didn't give these 3M nets a shot years ago.

I started a huge sanding project with some "higher end" sanding disks from harbor freight and it took several hours to get me to a halfway point due to the disks not performing very well. I bought these when I ran out and was very shocked by the low price for the quantity and supposed quality, and these for sure lived up to their expectations. They cut insanely well and last much longer than other disks ive tried, the other half of my project was finished in less than an hour and still had better results. A must buy

3m is quality. I was dealing with a bit of clogging, but I believe this was due to a specific finish. I appreciate that there is space in-between the grit for better dust collection. Here you can see I did get some clogging as I mentioned but it sprayed off easily with my compressor.

Fifteen years ago I built this “bent laminated” landscape bridge. The paint was showing signs of failure. I removed the treads and sampled how I was going to sand and paint it. 5 inch orbital sander, 4 1/2 inch grinder with flapper wheel, both seemed to have challenges. I ordered this 3M Xtract sandpaper and could not be more happy this product. This 3M sandpaper sanded this aging latex paint effortlessly. I used eight disc’s of paper. It really was a breeze

Worth the money. Lasts significantly longer than cheaper brands - and does a great job. Was skeptical at first due to price, but now making these my primary sanding discs.

Nice pads that stay together longer than most and dust is a non issue

Was using Bosch disc before tried this. Amazed how effective was the discs and the holes helps extracts the dust off quickly into the dust bag.

Game changer! I find it hard to believe how much more efficient these are at removing material than cheaper options. I used to have to cover a surface 3-4 times to remove the same amount of material that I do with 1-2 passes with these. If you are doing any sort of production, the added cost of these are easily worth it. 10/10 would buy again!
