## Overview

The PRYME Gateway Cable (LNK-GCAI-ZU) connects Motorola two-way radios with VOX capability to Android devices via a 3.5mm 4-conductor jack, enabling seamless push-to-talk communication through the ZELLO app. Lightweight and easy to use, it bridges traditional radio systems with modern PoC platforms for enhanced mobile communication.

## Description

Pryme LINK PoC/MCPTT Gateway cable for Motorola Mobile Radios using the GCAI Mic connector. Connects Two Way radio (with VOX function) to Cellphones and Tablets (with 3.5mm/4c plug) to provide gateway between radio system and PoC system. This simple cable assembly plugs into a two-way radio and an Android phone (or tablet) to create a link between the radio system and the ZELLO PTT App. It's pretty easy to set up and use but the radio MUST be set up for VOX Operation! Not all two-way radios are capable (or programmed) for VOX so make sure this is possible before purchasing our LNK cable.

Review: Works on MotoTRBO, not on APX - When plugged into a MotoTRBO and Android phone, the cross-link works right away, and the radio need not be CPS programmed for VOX operation. The dongle/adapter handles the PTT trigger. Tested on XPR and APX. APX triggers TX, but will not output audio back to the phone. Radio operation sans microphone is unaffected, and volume knob on radio still passes normal speaker audio, which is also variable out to the attached Zello device. Using this on a Connect Plus system, which dissallows CPS programming for VOX, so the ability of this adapter to provide it's own PTT trigger is really nice.

## Features

- Turn the radio off and plug in the LNK Gateway cable. Then plug the other end of the cable into any Android device that has a 3.5mm, 4 conductor jack
- Turn on the radio and make sure it is set on a channel with VOX programmed and enabled
- Still in ZELLO App, navigate to the Contact or Channel list and choose the one you want for Gateway operation. Make sure "VOX" icon is highlighted in blue
- If done correctly you should be ready to use. Calls received on the Two-way radio will be broadcast on the ZELLO App. Calls received on the Android device will be broadcast on the two-way radio. You may have to adjust the phone and radio volumes for best audio quality
- Mobile Radio & Cell Phone are NOT included!

**Q: Do you have one for a Kenwood radio, specifically the NX800**
A: Sorry we do not have one for this mobile radio model.

**Q: I have an older ipad air with audio jack connected to internet via wifi to my router... can i use your cable with my baofeng uv-82 classic?**
A: Are you already using ZELLO on your ipad?  If you are it should work as long as the radio is compatible with Kenwood 2-pin audio accessories.  Sorry I do not know anything about the uv-82 classic.  Also don't forget that the radio must have VOX capability on the channel you want to use for the gateway link.
