I have used POLY Mem for over 30 years and seen it heal some incredible wounds during that time! It was always my go to wound care for those wounds that were difficult to heal!

Promotes faster healing and even burns epithelize faster and less scarring. It is a great product.

I was already familiar with the performance of PolyMem wound dressings when I purchased this. My mother-in-law had a wound on her ankle for 2 years. The doctor treated it with ointment and bandages. A homecare nurse did some research and decided to try the Polymem, which is a pink foam type dressing. You apply the Polymem, dry, no creams or ointment. Leave it on until you can see fluid leakage starting to show through the dressing, usually 2 or 3 days. Then gently wash and pat dry the wound and reapply a fresh dry Polymem dressing. My mother-in-law's 2 year old wound healed in 10 days with the Polymem. I reccomend it to everyone! It is expensive but, since it actually works in a short time, you don't need much. Plus, what is more important than healing a persistent wound in as short a time as possible!? You can get it in different sizes. Read the description carefully to see if what you're ordering will require tape to adhere or not. These small pieces I bought are already made to adhere like a bandaid.
