Review: Solid spring shut 6” option - This worked good for me . Durable metal not cheap the fit was perfect for 6” duct. Proper airflow through it and shut as it should.

I added a screened vent in the attic to keep unwanted visitors out if they’re up there and keep the damper clean.

Works as intended with solid backdraft closure. Care should be taken when trying to crimp the metal for inserting into a 4 inch duct as to not getting the damper out of round or striking the butterfly flap inside.
