Great Bread Lame
I had been putting off getting a proper bread lame (for sourdough bread); but this is a real game changer - so much better than a regular knife. Easy to put on the blade. And I like the leather protector. Highly recommend.

amazing!
i have been into making sourdough bread lately, and a dull knife has not done a great job. this scorer is amazing for clean designs on my bread and it is easy to use! comes with instructions on how to set it up and it is easy to set up. comes with multiple blades which is always nice. so far so good, and i can't wait to keep using it!!

Sturdy tool for sourdough scoring
This is a safe way to score your sourdough bread. The handle is sturdy and it allows you to make beautiful cuts. However, the blade seems to lose its sharpness fairly quickly. Having said that, I suppose it's also a safety issue because when you need to change out the blade, that can be quite precarious. It does come with a nice leather cover so that you will never accidentally grab the blade if you keep this in a drawer.

This has worked so well for my scoring. I struggled with other scorers tugging at the dough. Love it.

Sharp tool, works well.
Just got this lame and it is way better than my previous lame. It comes with several replaceable tips which makes it long lasting. It is very sharp and makes cutting bread easier! The handle is thick, easy to hold. It comes with a leather case for storage which is nice but would prefer a child lock function as it is so sharp! Great price for the quality!

Blade falls off!
Not the greatest bread lame! I’ve been using this tool for over a year now and no matter how I adjust it the blade keeps coming off! And I’m also finding that the blades need changing after every dozen loaves otherwise it’s not a nice clean slice. But it would be a great tool if you could figure out a way to keep it locked in place!
