lovely knife, very light. this is sharpened on one side (correctly) however this forces right handed people to cut toward themselves, not a problem and helpful when pruning onto standing trees. if you are not confident with a knife find a left handed version!

Smooth, even cuts on cherry scions
Likes -Sharp 1-sided blade produces smooth, even, level cuts on cherry scions -thin polished bark lifter for lifting bark with minimal to no tearing -good detents to keep knife semi-locked open -red color for ease of spotting if dropped on ground -solid construction Dislikes -back of blade juts out of handle in closed position which may be a bit worrisome it could open while in the pocket but the spring seems to be strong enough to hold it in closed position. Very minor dislike really I also have the black-handled victorinox grafting knife with a separate redundant brass bark lifter. It's good also but this red one seems to make smoother cuts.
