Simply said, I love this protein and it's by far the best I've tried. I did whey for years, tried egg proteind powder, and even tried just eating lots of tuna and egg white omelettes. Decided to try the one thing I hadn't yet, beef, and I'm so glad I did. I do a scoop before and after my weight lifting sessions, and I get a slight push that lets me lift heavier with an extra rep. I noticed an increase in vascularity as well. I don't think it helps me recover faster than whey or egg. A huge advantage to this for me is that whey got me pretty bloated. Since I take it before a workout that was always pretty uncomfortable. And afterwards isn't as big of problem, it just always made me feel gross. I also noticed with whey, because of the dairy, I would get zits if I drank too much (that's just a me problem, but be aware if you drink a lot of milk and have acne) As far as flavor goes, I've tried the vanilla caramel and the strawberry. The strawberry is just OK, it tastes like a stale strawberry wafer. Love, love, love the vanilla caramel!!! :) It reminds me of the inside of a heath bar, or vanilla toffee coffee creamer, but not as sweet. As far as mixability goes, it does tend to glob up. My method to mix it nicely is to put about 1/4 cup water in a 16 oz shaker bottle, then the protein power, shake it real hard for about a minute, let it sit to dissolve ~2 minutes, shake again, and fill the rest of the shaker bottle with water and shake some more. It gets kind of foamy, so leave some room at the top. That'll get most (if not all) dissolved. If I have extra time, I mix it in the blender with some ice cubes. (Best tasting and most easily mixed method) Overall I'm noticing greater gains on this protein. Since it measures protein to calorie the same as whey, I chalk it up to the bonus anabolic benefits and the natural creatine. It could also be attributed to the fact I'm more comfortable during my workouts without the physical constraint of bloating, so I'm more comfortable to do more. I definitely recommend this for anyone who's plateaued on whey/casein/egg, gets zits/bloated from dairy, or just wants to try something different. So long as I keep lifting, this will be in my cupboard. ;)

This is a good quality protein, my husband drinks a lot of protein shakes and he likes this with banana and peanut butter.

Quite possibly the worst product I’ve ever tried. I bought a protein powder last month that was wonderful but expensive, redcon mre light. It was awesome tasting, blended perfectly and did its job. I was looking for a protein that was non dairy so I tried the redcon. Perfect except the high price tag. So looking for a cheaper alternative was a BIG mistake. Carnivor protein first off tastes and smells like dog food. Vanilla Carmel dog food that lingers well after you drink it. It blends terribly and worst of all it is super sticky for some reason. Just washing my mixer is a chore after blending this stuff. Unfortunately I bought a 4.5 pounder so I will be choking down 3 shakes a day just to get rid of it. Used water almond milk and coconut water to mix and neither was slightly tasty. You know that smell of an empty beef jerky bag? This protein smells stronger than that. Has a strange and overwhelming taste of what I can only imagine cheap dog food tastes like. My advice which I will be taking myself is to pay up for the quality. Redcon1! I shoulda never looked back after this one. Serves me right for cheaping out.

Honestly this is not a great flavor. It mixes well and I can understand how this might be beneficial as opposed to whey protein but it’s been hard to try to enjoy the flavor I got.

I had already tried the chocolate peanut butter, and that was borderline tolerable. You could tell what they were going for, but tasted kind of like a salty Heath bar. Was excited to try the Vanilla Caramel in hopes it would be better. Sadly it is not great.....but read on, it gets better. Keep in mind that I grew up in the infancy of protein powder that tasted like vitamins or worse so I can honestly tolerate a lot. Consistency of very fine sand. Not like flour like most protein powders are. and strange smoky scent which sort of sticks with you. It does not taste anything like vanilla, or carmel and it is absolutely dreadful. It tastes like sweet, smokey beef jerky. It also does not mix with water in a glass with a spoon. See photo. It mostly floats on top and looks like oatmeal, or, well, vomit, and clings to the spoon like grim death. I don't know if I can mask the taste with maybe some cinnamon or something, but it's going to be tough choking this down. Edit: This morning I put it in a blender bottle and shook the living hell out of it and tossed a shot of cinnamon in it, and it was honestly pretty tolerable. Still a very strong smokey smell/taste that is strange and sticks with you and comes through your pores, but it's tolerable and you can get it down. You can tell that they were going for Vanilla/Carmel taste once it is properly mixed, but they came up pretty short and it's by no means fantastic like the MRE Lite Oatmeal Chocolate chip cookie USED to be before they ruined it. I'll say it's ok, and leave it at that. The fact that is not whey helps quite a bit though. Changed to 4 stars from 2 after figuring out the mixing and cinnamon trick. MIGHT buy again.....

I like it better than whey. Have only been using for a month but I feel like I have more energy that day after a hard workout when I use this. Unfortunately it does not come in ribeye. The sweet flavored options are not what I like. Would purchase a beef flavored or unflavored if either were an option.

I don’t know why this was done, but the jar is three times larger than the amount of product. An unwise marketing move? A filling error? Either way, it looks like deception that wasn’t necessary.

Buone proteine della carne, anche se non totalmente "pure", ci sono all'interno diversi ingredienti che per me non le rendono al top. La solubilità è ottima, peccato per quel gusto un pò troppo dolciastro e quel retrogusto che rimane in bocca per ore di edulcorante.
