Generous width of fabric
So pleased with my first purchase I bought more! I made two sun-blinds with this fabric. A bit tricky to work with at first, but after measuring and cutting (measure twice, cut once (slightly oversize and then trim to fit) I practiced on an off-cut. One can iron a crease for sewing on 'cotton-setting' of iron if you iron on the non-shiny side. I was able to pin as I went and although the pins did leave holes, they are not to obvious. Having bought more after this order, I found it is harder to work with larger lenths for measuring as the material doesn't drape easily or naturally but with patience I managed in the end. My largest project was a blind measuring 60x75" and I am pleased with the overall result. ***because I needed a wide seam allowance to sew easily in a straight line I wold recommend ordering more than you need, but with careful and patient pinning (not me!) and two pairs of hands, it should be possible to sew a thinner seam.
