Very good product

Worked great to connect two pieces of vent piping that I had to cut in my rv trailer to do repairs. Once tightened on it was good as new with no odor leakage.

The 1-1/2 inch is a perfect fit on a 1-1/2inch PVC drain pipe. My kitchen drain to the basement isn't on a downward enough slope so it occasionally gets sluggish. We cut the pipe to access it with a snake and hose to flush it through once or twice a year as needed. This works very well for keeping it from leaking and still being able to access it when needed. No glue needed which would have defeated our purpose. It fits snug and did need a little wiggling to put it on. Once the screws on the clamps are tightened it will not budge. We'll see how well it holds up long term, whether the rubber gets hard and cracks etc. Bought a spare since it's not something I could find locally (No big box DIY stores nearby). I can see this being very useful for multiple in a pinch needs.

It's a basic tool great for sump line repairs.

Works as advertised

I needed this to connect a Fein vacuum to a 2 1/2 X 1 1/2 reducer. This was the only rubber coupling I could find that was 1 1/2 inch. When it arrived, the size of 1 1/2 inch was molded into it. I measured and the inside diameter was 1 7/8 inch with an outside diameter of 2 1/8 inch. I tried it anyway. The rubber was flexible enough and the clamp range wide enough that I was able to tighten the clamps so it would seal to my 1 1/2 inch fittings. In short, it didn't look like the right size but it worked. For this reason, 4 stars. A better product description would help.

I used this for my sump pump pipes. They were originally hard piped all the way through the lid into the pump pit. This meant when I needed to get access to pit or service the pump I could only lift lid 6 inches unless I cut the pipe apart. Using these allowed me to pull pipe apart quickly and fully access the pit then quickly reattach when finished. Work perfectly.
