This USB C to 3.5mm headphone and charger adapter from Subynanal is so, without a doubt great! I finally had to buy a new tablet. The new electronics don't have much respect for the older technology, but this takes care of that! I have an old school stereo with speakers. I keep it because the sound is absolutely amazing, and I love playing music. Whether cleaning the house, relaxing, or working, I need great-sounding music throughout the house! As you can see from the picture, I use the adapter to plug into my tablet, then one section to plug in the charger for the tablet, and the other section is the AUX cord for the stereo. I have been enjoying music for the past 4 months! All the cords fit perfectly together and the adapter is a small size, so it's not overbearing or in the way. I can listen to music for hours and it all sounds great. Yay!

Works great and as intended. And more importantly, it saved my iPad from a lighting strike. It did fry the dongle, but I was very happy it stopped the lighting. Gladly bought a new one to replace it, seams to be a quality build.

My first time getting one of these dongle thing's as my new phone doesn't have a standard 3.5mm headphone jack and to my surprise this little thing actually work's and it's very handy! Especially with how you can charge your phone and listen to your music both at the same time and that's mainly what I needed it for, to listen to my music using a headphone adapter/jack. Had to give it 5 star's, I think it's pretty nifty and I'm just glad that it work's. Thank you. 👍🏼

Can't charge while listening to music kinda a big part of it but not gonna complain to much it works well with audio with a older phone

Won't hold all jacks. I have a set of Sony wired buds I paid good money for years ago that are quality all around, but the Sony jack falls out of the plug! Same for a pair of cheap RadioShack buds. Has no noise filter on the power side. Plugged it into a car charger and the motor noise came through the speakers. When plugging the USB jack into the phone, the audio would disconnect. Apparently, you only get either audio or a charge at a time in spite of what the product description says.

Like most modern smart phones, mine only has a single USB-C 'charging' connector, and no place to plug in a set of headphones or an AUX cable to an amplifier or the AUX input of a car stereo. Since I listen to audio books when I drive, especially to occupy myself on long drives associated with vacation trips, I rely on being able to sync/connect my smart phone with a rental car's stereo using Bluetooth wireless. On two recent trips where I had to rent a car at an airport, I ended up with a Chevy Equinox, both of which steadfastly refused to 'play nice' with my smart phone over Bluetooth. They only wanted to connect to Apple phones, and my Android phone was apparently not welcome. Luckily, for many years I always bring along an AUX cable which allows plugging a phone's headphone output to the car's AUX input. But only too late I remembered that my new phone does not have a headphone output. I was able to pick up a small 'USB-C to headphone' adapter at a Walgreens drug store I was driving past, and that got me my desired phone-to-AUX connection, but now the phone was depleting its battery charge on the long drive and even though I had along my car-power to USB-C charger cord, I could not plug it into the phone at the same time as the new adapter. So, I ended up leaving the phone plugged into car power via the charging cable, while listening to my audio book via the phone's tinny little speaker, just barely adequate due to road noise and such. I purchased this "USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone and Charger Adapter", which does the same thing as the little adapter from Walgreens, while also adding another USB-C connector for plugging in my phone's charger cord at the same time. I have tested it on my own car at home, and it works fine with my Android phone, and audio quality is just fine, and I verified that this adapter does allow me to charge the phone through it while listening. There is some information about this device allowing volume control, but there was no manual of guide with it and I don't see how to use that feature, if it actually has it. One caveat I noticed when testing this product with my Android phone and my own car; at first, there was no sound from the car's speakers even when playing my audio book. It seemed that the book was playing through the phone's little speaker and NOT outputting an audio signal via the USB-C connector. I had to go into my phone's settings and turn off the Bluetooth, at which point this product was able to start performing its function. The adapter I bought from Walgreens did not have this issue. Note: If you want to use this product in the way I described above, you will also need to have a suitable AUX extension cable, with the 3.5mm stereo phone plug at each end (one end plugs into the car's AUX input jack, and the other end plugs into the 'headphone' output jack of this product. I suggest that the cable be at least 3 feet long. If you just want to plug a pair of headphones into this product, you don't need an AUX extension cable. This product's 'headphone' output is suitable for both actual headphone use and also for the AUX type connection to a car's AUX input, or a computer's sound card 'line in' jack, etc.

This 2-in-1 adapter works exactly as advertised, but you have to make sure your device is compatible. I originally bought it to use with my Onn 8.1 2026 tablet, but it didn't work at all on that device. That isn't the adapter's fault, though—the tablet just uses a cheap, off-the-shelf DAC that has power and audio switching limitations. To make sure, I tested the adapter on my Dell laptop and it worked perfectly fine. It has a great look and appearance, and the compact size makes it super easy to use for quick connectivity. For the price, it's a good product. I can't blame the seller because it didn't work on my tablet due to the tablet's own hardware limits. The adapter actually has good build quality and functions just like it describes when you pair it with a compatible device.

This thing works amazingly well. The audio quality is phenomenal. It charges my phone while playing music.

Used it on my Motorola Razr+ 2024. Works wonderfully with my DJ headphone to listen to music, and my headphone with mic to talk on the phone. But the second you plug power to charge, it cuts the headphones off. Only one can work at a time, which defeats the purpose of the product. If you wish to use both ports at the same time, it may not work. Not a recommended buy ... Sorry

The AUX cable creates buzzing and crackling noise.

Used on iPhone 15 pro max. Crackles and distortion when used in car with charging - original “lower quality” equivalent does not have these problems. The problems didn’t show when used indoors with headphones and charger connected. However, it was purchased for car use, so returned.

Sometimes activates Google assistant while driving, gets in the way. Audio quality and volume on the jack are way better compared to the Apple adapter I used to use. Charging seems to be the around same as without the adapter
