These premium SEWN-IN placket stays are made up of thin, lightweight strips of a flexible, proprietary material that are designed for your shirt's placket supporting the collar on both sides. This placket stay requires installation in the shirt and takes less than 5 minutes. It can be done by anyone who has basic sewing skills. Our placket stays are similar to a collar stay and complete the perfect look. They work perfectly with magnetic collar stays and are the only product that can support the weight of the collar. Million Dollar Collar works with any dress shirt, sportswear, casual, or button-down shirt. The purpose of the placket stays is to keep the front of your shirt looking pristine and crisp all day. Our Placket Stays are washer/dryer, iron/steam, and dry-clean/launder safe. Million Dollar Collar was specifically engineered to be installed once and last the life of your dress shirt.

As I bought 10 pairs and got all 10 shirts done at the same time, my tailor charged me £5.00 per shirt (£50.00). I think that that was very good value but my opinion is, naturally, subjective. However, I do not own a sowing machine nor have the know-how to do this myself. The tailor did say that if I'd have asked for only 1 or 2 shirts, he would have charged £10.00 a piece - the standard price of a shirt alteration. Thanks to Million Dollar Collars, I really stick out from the (IT) crowd

These things are the dog's... along with magnetic collar stiffeners, my work shirts look very different to those of my work colleagues which just adds to the fun banter of who has more style - really important when you're in IT to show you're not an IT geek...which, of course, you totally are. Anyway, these things work as described. Shirts can be washed with no harm coming to shirts or stiffeners. As I bought 10 pairs and got all 10 shirts done at the same time, my tailor charged me £5.00 per shirt (£50.00). I think that that was very good value but my opinion is, naturally, subjective. I'd only recommend these for your nicer shirts since they require a bit of effort (any maybe coin) to have the fitted as per instructions. Also depends on how you wear your shirts. It is depressing to see your nice shirts sag without these.
