WAND is a simple, plug-in device that enables online irrigation management capabilities for any Hunter X2 controller. WAND enables Hydrawise smart irrigation management software, which uses comprehensive local weather forecasts to ensure you only water when needed and provides reports on water use and total water savings. WAND gives you total irrigation control from your smartphone, tablet, or computer. You can also grant access and permissions to your irrigation contractor. Be sure your device remains connected to HunterX2XXX Wi-Fi network during the SAP setup. Device Wi-Fi may automatically connect back to your saved networks A ‘No Internet’ popup may appear. Select ‘Continue Without Internet’ to remain connected to WAND. Forget the saved HunterX2XXX Wi-Fi network in your device Wi-Fi settings, then restart Wi-Fi setup. Uninstall WAND, re-insert, then restart Wi-Fi setup

**Q: My hunter x2 connects to my wifi but the app won’t finish the installation. anyone with this issue? it will stay “connecting” but never finishes.**
A: Start the setup process over, and connect to the HUNTER wifi that it creates. It will then ask for YOUR wifi & password, and it will auto connect to that. Be patient. It takes about 20 minutes to set it up.

**Q: What is the warranty?  Who provides warranty support?**
A: All Hunter products carry a 5 year warranty, there is a date code stamped on them. All you have to do is go to a distributor and they will warranty it out. I will say though in all my years, I have only had to replace 1 product under warranty, and I’ve installed and maintained hundreds of controllers

**Q: Is this a simple do-it-yourself install (plug/play) or does it require a licensed contractor to install?**
A: Yes, it is as simple as plug and play if you have a smart phone or a laptop with WiFi attached to your house network. Just follow the instructions provided with the device. I did mine in just 15 minutes to start the configuration of the irrigation system.

A: Hello, WAD supports all X2 models, so your model is supported no matter the station count or manufacturing year.
