Better Than Expected
Have a dislike for liver. Need it for health and nutrition. Was very pleasantly surprised how mild the taste is. A suggestion was made to mix up the livers with mustard and use it as a condiment. Great idea, and I like it. Still not crazy about liver, but this brand works for me.

Foundational to long term storage.
Very clean and oil is very clear. Exactly what I wanted. Ingredients are Cod liver and salt. It is dense, very tasty, high calorie food, 680 calories per 4.27 net oz. can, twice that of beef. Takes up very little space. A meal in itself. Vit D = 75 mg 380%, Potas. = 80 mg 2%, iron = 1.65 mg 10%, Vitamin A = 80 mg 290%, salt = 270 mg 12%, carbs = 3g 1%, Protein = 2g 4%. 21 month shelf life date, probably much longer. Am getting many+ more.

Right texture and color, excellent overall quality.
Quality of heat processing is what determines consistency, structure, and uniform surface color (absence of unsightly dark spots). At least the batch we received is excellent in all those respects. Slightly lower price is also an advantage.
