My fur baby is a Chihuahua and most Chihuahuas are small, but my little one is pretty big, especially around his chest. Angel, my little protector, looks very buff for a Chihuahua; he is very athletic for his age. He is about to turn six in human years soon, but not too soon. My small man has a daughter, but she is a Chihuahua mix. Her name is Peacan, and she is a bit smaller and longer from her mother’s genes. Peacan is turning four on Thanksgiving Day. I had trouble finding harnesses that has mesh material that would fit both their sizes. They both are full grown, so it is difficult to use any harnesses that may not be adjusted to their sizes. My babies deserve to get something that would not bother them too much when they are getting walked.I was looking for harnesses that would fit well on my dogs. I also wanted them to be comfortable wearing it. There are some harnesses that are stiff and itchy, and some harnesses that do not have any soft material that soothes the dog’s skin. Then when I came across this harness, I knew I had found the one. The Gooby harness is perfect for my dogs. The harness size and material are absolutely flawless. When looking for a harness, it is really hard to find one for a small-medium dog. Both of my dogs can easily get out of their old harnesses that I have bought for them. They are like escape artists, and it was so hard chasing them down when they would get released from their old harnesses. Other harnesses would give you about two inches to tighten up before reaching the end. That did not help because the majority of the time I would get the smallest size, and there was not any smaller than that. It would be loose on the chest area and behind. Overall, the other ones had trouble keeping my dogs in the harness; I would see multiple legs in one open area, and it would make them trip. The Gooby harness gave more room to tighten up than the others, which is satisfying. I was glad to see that my dogs were not looking like a fool by wearing the old ones. Another reason why I love the Gooby harness was their material. The harness may look and cost cheap, but it is worth getting. The fabric was so soft it felt like pillows. If I love the feeling, then I knew my little ones would too. When I received both harnesses in the mail, my dogs looked so happy because they knew it was time for a walk. They sped over to me so that I could put on their harnesses to prepare for their walk. I saw how they stood with the new harnesses, so relieved and content. They felt stress-free. The harness was easy to put on and modify. In my dogs’ earlier years, they never wore harnesses, only collars. The day when I realized to get one was when the neck collars began to choke them. When I would walk them and pull them away from someone or something, they would be badly choked. So, I went to almost every pet store to find a sizable harness for my dogs and could not find any. I have gotten them one that was close to their size because I could not bear to hurt them with the leash again. The only problem was their size. I had finally looked at Amazon and searched for them. I read almost all of the feedbacks about Gooby’s harness, and I was overjoyed to read that it was perfect for other dog owners. I bought one harness for my male dog, which was a medium because he is pretty muscular. I had to see if it would fit on one of my dogs before buying another. I was happy to say it did fit, and it was comfortable as they said it would be. This product gave true details about the size and material. I love it, and I will buy more when I need to. It can also last long, very durable. It was soft as a feather. The harness let my dogs feel free and happy. I have never seen a harness that was automatically secure around the neck, meaning tighter and safer. It was absolute perfect because it did not hurt my babies when getting pulled from the leash or under their arms and legs from wearing it. The Gooby harness was the best I have ever gotten.

I bought this Harness for my 10 pound Chihuahua , he is also my service dog therefore he is always out with me. I never liked hooking up the leash to the neck collar I think it is cruel way to go " checking your best friend. I used to have a 145pound Rottweiler for my Service dog and he never had a leash attached to his neck. For training a Hattie worked just great.My Chihuahua loves to go out and wear clothes so I want him to be as comfortable as possible. This Harness is very soft ,it fit with the strap adjustment around his belly just fine without any modifications. The neck hole was a bit large after I put it on him and he ran around the house one of his feet had come out therefore telling me that it's a bit large around his neck and chest area. I liked the harness so much I had decided to alter it myself. I took each side of the front straps leading to the "hook for his leash" and sewed them together very nicely which brought the head opening around the chest about 1 1/12 inch smaller. Now it fits great and it is 100% tailored just for him. I just hope that he doses not gain any more weight!!. I am no seamstress in any way I used a sewing kit from a Hotel I stayed in that had prethreaded needles in it to fix it. So if I can do it belive me so can you. All worth it. I bought this in a XS for a Chiweenie puppy that I was fostering. It fit really nice and allowed me to walk her on a leash. It’s adjustable so you can customize the fit. It’s light so the dog doesn’t get weighed down or overheated. I have bought harnesses from this brand before and am always happy with the fit. Make sure you measure your dog and use the size chart before ordering.

Okay, I have been using this style of "harness" for my baby since the first day he came into our lives. We don't like the collars as they seem more painful and with the harnesses we feel more confidence that it is more comfortable for the fur baby than the regular collar. Having said this, I actually went up to a large for my 17 lb. mini schnauzer as the medium just seemed to remain too tight on him and would make him a little grumpy because it was a little more snug than he liked as well. So, when I purchased the large, I was doing it as much for his comfort as for our own. While I can adjust the back to a comfortable fit, the top part is a lot looser than I would prefer. He can almost slip his head out of it if he is wanting to have a stubborn moment. Thankfully, he's well behaved and when it comes off, he is sure to let me know, once his attention diverts back from whatever had his attention and set the stubbornness into motion. Otherwise, I am extremely happy. If you are looking to purchase for your own dog, keep in mind, the top piece may be loose and because of this, you may have to make your own sewing alterations. Something I will be doing this weekend to ensure his stubbornness​ doesn't lead to the "great escape."Another great thing about this harness is the color. My "fur baby" is a salt and pepper and because of this, nighttime wanderings can be interesting if he gets out of an area where there is a lot of lot. The harness we replaced was red and it never really made it easy for seeing him if he was out of the light. Now, this neon green is easily seen and helps me keep track of him if he tries to hide in the darkness of the night.

Bought because it is softer and more comfortable than firmer harness. Fit is a bit weird, neck has to be big enough to fit whole head through which makes it look bit big when on. But nice and comfy and doesn't rub

Le quedo muy bien a mi Shih Tzu adulto, aunque su tamaño es por debajo de la media y pesa entre 5-6 kilos creo que el chaleco como quiera le quedaría aun perro de la misma raza tamaño promedio ya que a el le queda algo flojo.
