Babe Waves (Jumbo, Pink/Black)

It works-ish. It gives some wavy texture to hair, but they’re not like big and all that beachy. The power button is definitely in the wrong place, or at least should be able to lock it. It’s heavy. It’s all a bit meh, but like, not terrible.

I have thick long hair and this thing actually makes some serious waves. It heats up to 450 which is also great. I recommend the jumbo size if you want waves, I think the smaller sizes just give you 80s crimp hair.

While this creates the result I was hoping for, the plastic handle part gets way too hot to use! The part where you place your thumb was extremely hot and actually burned my thumb while trying to use it. While yes you could use a glove, it does make it harder to control. On top of that, the lever resistance is quite high as well so it's straining on the wrist. If you have weak wrists (like me) it will get difficult and painful to use. Sadly have to pass on this one even though it does produce the beach wave result I was looking for.

Got this product because I saw it being used on Instagram by a stylist I follow. I’m so glad I did, it’s awesome! I’ve never used a wave iron before, always just used a flat iron or curling iron to get the look, but this tool makes it effortless and gives your hair the super cute beach wave look. I definitely recommend!

I got the jumbo waver. It’s so easy to use once you get the hang of it. My only complaint is that it’s bulky to hold and it can make you accidentally turn it off or change the temp. It would be better if the controls were on the side and not in the way of where you have to hold it. It takes some getting use too because it’s so big. BUT.. I can achieve a beautiful look in about ten minutes! I use the waver on all of my hair except the top section and the hair around my face. I curl those parts and the waves underneath looks like I curled my entire head! Saves so much time! I highly recommend!
