What happens if you shower with these? Are they waterproof?

Well it's leather so I would not recommend it. I mean it's not going to fall apart as soon as it touches water but the more water it comes into contact with the faster it will start to come apart. I wouldn't stress being in the rain, washing the car or things like that but I would try to keep the water contact to a minimum.
