Great for drying laundry
I'm really pleased with this. We were looking for something to help dry clothes in winter months, and this is working exactly as we'd hoped. We put it in a small room with the doors and windows closed, set it to target 35% humidity and within about 5 or 6 hours it's dry and for far less cost than running a tumble drier. The unit itself is compact and about as loud as a pedestal fan. I would prefer a larger water tank, but this one manages with one empty per washing load (our washer is 8kg). We don't use it as an air filter or for general dehumidification, I'm not sure how well ithe small water collection tank would do if you're looking to use it for a flat or small house (it's probably underpowered for much more than that). It would probably need regular emptying. Although it's auto shut off when full and inoffensive alarm means this probably wouldn't be too much of an issue. Bottom line? Good value for money, study compact build quality and works great for laundry.

โGame-Changer for Humid Roomsโ
Bought this unit for a small recording studio that is located outside in my garage. For the last two years the room had begun to smell with damp and excess humidity to the point where some electrics in the room started to fail. Iโve had this unit on every single day for a week and the humidity levels have dropped from 80+ to sitting just above 50%. Room feels and smells cleaner. Delighted with the results and can safely say the unit is worth every penny. Unit emits a very low fan noise which is ideal for the purpose of my room. Recorded vocals the other day with unit on and there was no leakage of sound into in-room mics. Great little unit if you donโt want something hardwired into the room and want to have something portable. Yesterday I brought it into my kitchen to dry a small load of washing which was hanging over chairs etc and clothes were dry very quickly. Highly recommend this unit for anyone looking for a damp and humidity problem.

In this case size really doesnโt matter
This review is for the 12L per day unit. This dehumidifier is small about the size of a small side table/the size of a medium shredder (a little shorter than the arm of my sofa) but it seriously packs a punch. Within 30 minutes the living room humidity had dropped from 72% to 65% (with outdoor humidity at 89%) and the windows open. The unit is fairly heavy (for me, a 5ft 3 woman, who loathes the gym ๐ฑ), but I did manage to lift it out of the box (you could always cut the cardboard box down the side and wheel the unit out of it). After two weeks of use I have found a couple of design flaws, which Iโve reluctantly deducted a star for. 1. HEPA filter - Despite the description this does not have a HEPA filter. Now Iโm going to search for a HEPA filter that will fit the unit (it should have been sold with one - the description said it was - or at least provide a link to buy the filter separately). 2. Room temperature - If the room temperature is below 20oc (and sometimes at 21oc) the unit freezes and cuts out (presumably to give it time to defrost). 3. Emptying water tank - Like other reviewers I agree there is a knack to re-inserting the water tank. You have to angle it slightly forward and down (once youโve done it a couple of times itโs easy). It also does continue to drip when the tank is out/being emptied (I put a folded piece of kitchen towel there to absorb the water while I empty the tank. Itโs also a good idea to put the unit on a hard surface, rather than a carpeted one, so that any splashes that occur while the tank is out can be easily dried). 4. This costs approximately (ยฃ0.05) 5p an hour to run (according to my smart meter on a British Gas standard tariff at November 2024). In summary this is one of the best things Iโve bought. Small/easy to store, an impressive performance and sold at a reasonable price. I wouldnโt hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

Top clothes dryer
They say ยฃ0.05 per hr to run and they are right works a dream, our box room is now our drying room and this dehumidifier works an absolutely amazing, gets the moisture out of the clothes , the room is like an oven when you walk in, saving a fortune by sacking off the dryer in the garage.easy to move round and light weight, very compact and simple to use also. So 10/10 from me.

Excellent for Small Spaces
Bought this as it was a โwhichโ best buy, we are delighted with this purchase. We have bought several dehumidifiers over the years. Bought this dehumidifier specifically for our static caravan, ideal size for a confined space and itโs on wheels so perfect. The static feels so much better for it, especially when showering and cooking. Would highly recommend and would have no hesitation in buying again.

Reliable, effective, and actually fit for UK conditions.
Weโve been using this dehumidifier daily since October, and so far itโs been solid. No faults, no drama. In the UK climate, those cheap moisture-absorbing tubs are basically useless โ we tried them before and theyโre a complete waste of money. This machine actually does the job. Itโs been running every day for months and hasnโt missed a beat. Itโs quiet enough to live with, energy-efficient, and you can genuinely see and feel the difference in humidity levels. Damp air gone. Clothes dry faster. No comparison to passive tub dehumidifiers. The main downside is the water tank size (wasn't sure at beginning if we will need bigger - and yes, to run for entire day you need bigger tank without emptying the water tank that often) . On wetter days weโve had to empty it twice, which gets mildly annoying. Another minor negative: when itโs running, it creates a slight draft and the room can feel a bit colder. Not a deal-breaker, but noticeable. Overall verdict: reliable, effective, and actually fit for UK conditions. I wouldnโt even consider going back to dehumidifier tubs โ theyโre trash compared to this. If you want something that works and can run daily without issues, this is a good buy.

Impressive! ๐๐๐ป
I'm genuinely amazed by the performance of this dehumidifier... My first ever. A real game changer. I don't have a tumble dryer, just an old fashioned pulley drying rack suspended from the ceiling, which is okay, especially in warm weather, but in winter, although it's warm in the kitchen with the radiator beneath it, the window is always completely full of condensation, and the whole room feels damp, so I end up having to leave the window open overnight, (locked). This means the kitchen is freezing cold in the morning, but no condensation. Not any more! Used it for the first time today. I let the window fog up before I switched it on, to see how it coped. It completely cleared it in and hour or two, and it's a big bay window! The air was nice and dry, and the laundry almost dry too. I only regret living in this house for 33 years, and never thinking to get one of these brilliant devices. All those wasted years. I'd recommend one to anyone thinking about buying one, without hesitation. It was quite easy to empty, and unlike some brands, you didn't have to buy castor's separately. They were already fitted! I'd give this a score of 100/100. That shows just how happy I am with it.

Effective
Very good and perfect for the size of room, it knocked the humidity down to a sensible level within an hour.

Neat and efficient
Having used this for several days and nights, Iโm quite happy with it. Itโs efficient at drawing moisture. Yes, the tank is small, but itโs not a hassle to empty it once or twice a day. It does have the hose for continuous draining. I use this in the bedrooms as I have a larger Meaco for the laundry downstairs. Itโs neat and tidy and wheels around quite easily.

Must have product for your house
Fabulous product, one of the best machines Ive bought for the house in a long time. One regret though & thats only that I didnt buy one sooner. Little noisy but you get used to it. Lots of different modes & great for laundry drying & removing moisture efficiently. Buying a 2nd one for the house as its that good.
