Good hitch to hold upright door on console.

Don’t waste your time
These come with no instructions and simply don’t work.

No instructions. Easy to install, but knowing exactly where to install was a challenge
I needed instructions to install this in the exactly place where they would hold the top up properly. I made a pretty good guess. You may need to google instructions on these in general and learn how to use them. I made it work.

CHEAP SCREWS
Almost every screw broke off at the head (both with a drill and by hand)!!!

Great product
I like these hinges. They weren't difficult to install and have helped keep the chest lid from slamming down hard.

Doesn't support heavy weight
These probably work fine for light weight lids, but my toy box has a solid wood top. These did not support the weight to be soft close.

Slow closing hinge
Used it on child’s toy box to help keep from mashing little fingers. Slow closes but it could be forced to close fast. Worked fine for me.

Not worth buying!
We installed 4 on toy box and didn’t even slow the tid down at all. We had to rebuy better quality. Wast of hard earned money.
