Miracle Grow Orchid Food Works Fabulously!!!
Miracle Grow Orchid Food is Great!!! I got a clearance sale on Orchid plant from a well known price club. The orchid flowers were all opened no new ones. Typically when you buy an orchid like this once the flowers go you never see it bloom again. In fact I got tired of the all green plant that wasn’t going anywhere. So I didn’t want to just throw it in the garbage. Instead, I just put it out on my deck in the hot summer heat and forgot about it. When frost was coming to my surprise it was still alive on my deck so I brought it in. I found Miracle Grow for Orchids and I decided to try it and boy was I glad. Now for the first time ever the plant grew new flower stems that fully bloomed absolutely amazing. Our friends came to visit for dinner. She has green thumb and said that my orchid plant flowers were beautiful she complained about her poor performance orchid plant that she thought was dying. I told her two things needed for beautiful blooms #1 Miracle Grow Orchid Food #2 a South Facing window not letting the sun shine directly on the plants by using drapes to protect them so they only get indirect light. I highly recommend Miracle Grow Orchid (pump spray) Food!!! Hope this helps!!! Warmest Regards, Philip

Weird to find rocks in orchid mix
I prefer Miracle Gro potting mixes for my plants because it is always a good product and gives me good results. I needed some coarse orchid mix this time because the medium coarseness comes out of the holes in the pots. What I did NOT expect was getting ROCKS in tha bag. While I admit that rocks would be more of a coarse product, I certainly don’t expect to PAY for rocks. I can get them out of my driveway, thank you very much. I took off one star for it. I’ve only used a small portion of the bag but wonder how many I will find in the bottom when I get there.

Easy to use
Miracle-Gro Orchid Plant Food Spikes are a great way to care for orchids! Very easy to use: just insert them into the pot, and the fertilizer gradually nourishes the plant.

Great orchid plant food!!!!
I have used this product for a while and my orchids look happy. The leaves are vibrant shiny. My orchids are still looking good, and definitely add more life to it. Im amazed on how it made my orchids grew so much, and bloomed several times already. It just need to be shipped better, put a tape maybe, one of them accidentally got opened during transit. Otherwise its perfect, and very affordable.

Caused me to get gnats in my house : /
I bought this orchid soil back in march and at that time I repotted about 10 different plants, 2 orchids with this mix and 8 bonsai seedlings with a different mix. I noticed I got gnats within a few weeks of repotting. I automatically assumed it was the bonsai soil beings that I had bought that and it was kept in a porch like area. All of the soil immediately went into plastic air tight containers after using. I recently had to repot one of my orchids again and a few of my other plants. Once again, I got gnats. Only this time they were accompanied by Japanese beetles and some of their larvae! Still thinking it was the other soil I got rid of it and decided I would purchase new soil for my bonsai. Beings I hate bugs, and was super skeeved out, I had already been using Neem oil to get rid of the bugs but it wasn’t enough for me. I decided I needed to change the soil as well. Well to my surprise, as soon as I open the plastic container I saw so many gnat eggs (now that i unfortunately can recognize them and know what to look for). I am now convinced that the Japanese garden beetles came from this soil too. Super frustrated and had to spend all sorts of money to get rid of bugs in my house. The soil itself wasn’t bad and I would have given it 5 stars had I not gotten the unwanted critters with the soil.
