This reel is worth the cost

this is good reel because it is a daiwa high end reel at a good price only because it comes from Japan can not wait to use it comes April the first.v

Great reel works amazingly well. Used it over 40 times and performed flawlessly. Always remember to reset it anytime you change terminal tackle or lose line. I also suggest a plastic fishing line bead to protect ceramic rod tip because reel is very powerful and a mistake can chip the ceramic which can cut your line. Daiwa USA will not service this because it is not sold here just fyi.

I have bad arthritis in my elbows and shoulders so I bought this for deep dropping in 150 feet plus of water and I liked the fact it had two speeds. I took it out yesterday for the first time and I am super impressed. I reeled in a lot of big fish yesterday and this thing worked awesome. But the top part for me was in 250 feet of water I caught 6-8 foot blue shark. This thing made quick work of this shark. I did have to hand crank some but it was really easy to hand crank. The electric part worked awesome. When the shark would get tired I could turn the reel on and it would bring it up really fast. I would say I had the shark up in less than 30 minutes and was able to cut the line. Also reeled in two really nice Scamp grouper and several doubles with Vermillion, Red and White Snapper. I would definitely recommend this

Reel i bought is faulty. Does no wind at full speed. Seller hasn’t provided any help for warranty. Have been told to contact the manufacturer directly. Daiwa Australia wont do warranty so have to send it to Japan which would be ok if I had an email or address to send it to.

I brought this out to catch Red Snapper in 300 ft of water. This thing doesn’t disappoint, it ran flawlessly for a two day trip, bringing up fish after fish. Amazing reel.

今回、秋鮭、真鱈釣りなどに使う為に購入しました。秋鮭は？ハイスピードで巻き上げるので、とても重宝しました。レオブリッツ500やシーボーグ500はもともと使ってますが、巻き上げの安定感はハンパないです。 リール自体の重さも500クラスとそんなに変わらず、使いやすいです。
