It’s made up of rubber and not plastic so all sound vibrations are absolved. Does a batter job than one of those foam stands. But I wish they had a flat version for it . I searched the web/amazon for some base stands for my Edifier bookshelf speakers (S880db). Per speaker, the size is 138mm × 168mm × 230mm - 7.5kg. I found this size pretty hard, either stands were over sized or under sized and then I found these.... The size is perfect for the speakers and incredibly stable. I've moved my desk numerous times with the speakers on the base and they've not budged. The quality of the product is spot on, I wouldn't change anything about it. In terms of angle of degrees, these aim my speakers perfectly at me and I have noticed a difference in how the sound is projected. Overall, a worthy purchase to improve sound and the aesthetics of my desk with friends commenting on the look and asking if the stands came with the speakers (they look made for it!). I'd recommend.

I hear the higher notes better since the monitors are on my desk. Now the sound does not just hit my chest, leaving me with the tendency to slough to hear the music better! I point the monitors towards me and really enjoy the sound. To me, much better than the foam thingees that you have to cut yourself. Happy!

Photographed with speakers and at no point were they photographed on their own! These are not speakers and I have no idea how it is even legal to advertise it with such an obvious ilusion! NO one could believe that these could be worth $70!!!!!!!!! they are 2 pieces of rubber that could be mistaken for packaging!!!
