Featuring cutting-edge Volume Cut Resin and the innovative Rotary Generator System, it offers enhanced durability and rapid swing recovery. With a professional-grade string tension range of 24-28 lbs and a sleek limited edition Camel Gold finish, this racket combines performance and style for those who demand the best on the court. ## Description Yonex could make new progress in the development of the volume cut resin. This groundbreaking resin provides a strong bond with less material and therefore weight. It is a very versatile resin with a durable and strong character, reducing weight. Of course, the distinctive rotation generator system is still active with all these YONEX badminton rackets, with which the weight is optimally distributed. And the Astrox 88 includes Yonex's E.B Cap, which increases energy transfer from player to bat by bending the shaft in a single direction, reducing shaft twist and energy loss. This combines perfectly with the innovative Namd Graphite, which creates extra flex and snapback for players and gives you extra power without losing control. The material reinforced with volume cut resin is also visible in the frame and eyelets. The frame structure has evolved, resulting in a larger sweet spot, partly due to the powerful, reinforced isometric blade shape. The tubes are placed in better places in the frame and are slightly larger so that the strings can move a little more upon impact of the shuttle. The shuttle can therefore be started with even more power with better balance/control. Review: Yonex Astrox 88D Pro Broke in 4 Months – Extremely Disappointed! - Extremely Disappointed – Yonex Quality Is a Joke!** I bought the **Yonex Astrox 88D Pro** just **4 months ago**, expecting premium quality from such a reputed brand. But to my shock, **the racket broke without any impact, any touch, or even being used recently**. It was kept safely and still somehow cracked — absolutely pathetic! For a racket that costs this much, **I expected durability, reliability, and at least basic build quality**. Instead, I got a fragile piece of trash. Either Yonex has lost its standards or the seller is delivering fake or factory-defect products. This is not what I paid for. **I feel completely cheated.** Don’t waste your money like I did. **Terrible experience with both Yonex and desertcart Review: Good overall racket for attacking player in doubles game - First things first - compared to international prices, the price for which it is available in India is reasonable. Head heavy racket but not too much to hamper recovery, your smashes will be powerful but not unplayable for the opposition. Recovery is fast so ideal for doubles player. Will do for singles also if you are not aggressive in singles. If you like smashing hard in singles you can opt for more head heavy or 3U weight as recovery need not be too quick. Control is very good but not excellent as even balanced but a good compromise as this is suited for aggressive players who play more in the back rather than around net. Very good sweet spot size and this does not compromise on speed. Overall a good package for doubles players who like to play from back more often. Not bad in looks too. ## Features - Astrox 88D Pro - Camel Gold - Weight: 4U, Handle: G5 - Tension 24-28 lbs - Technology - Volume Cut Resin, Rotary Generator System, Yonex's E.B Cap - Limited Edition ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0916HGY1M | | Age Range Description | Kid | | Brand | YONEX | | Brand Name | YONEX | | Customer Reviews | 3.0 out of 5 stars 42 Reviews | | Frame Material Type | Resin | | Grip Size | 4 1/8 inches | | Grip size | 4 1/8 inches | | Included Components | A BADMINTON RACKET | | Item Type Name | BADMINTON RACKET | | Item Weight | 5 Grams | | League Name | badminton | | Manufacturer | YONEX | | Material | Graphite | | Material Type | Graphite | | Shaft Material | Graphite | | Size | One Size | | Skill Level | Advanced | | Skill level | Advanced | | Sport | Badminton | | Sport Racket String Installation | Unstrung | | Sport Type | Badminton | | UPC | 008235583053 | ## Product Details - **Size:** One Size - **Brand:** YONEX - **Grip size:** 4 1/8 inches - **Sport:** Badminton - **Material:** Graphite ## Images ![YONEX ASTROX 88D PRO G5 4U -UNSTRUNG Graphite Badminton Racket (Camel Gold) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61ZUpXYNGoL.jpg) ![YONEX ASTROX 88D PRO G5 4U -UNSTRUNG Graphite Badminton Racket (Camel Gold) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61ujDgUFdrL.jpg) ![YONEX ASTROX 88D PRO G5 4U -UNSTRUNG Graphite Badminton Racket (Camel Gold) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31Ut7VWcwiL.jpg) ![YONEX ASTROX 88D PRO G5 4U -UNSTRUNG Graphite Badminton Racket (Camel Gold) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71WjfHPvlJL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Yonex Astrox 88D Pro Broke in 4 Months – Extremely Disappointed! *by S***A on 21 July 2025* Extremely Disappointed – Yonex Quality Is a Joke!** I bought the **Yonex Astrox 88D Pro** just **4 months ago**, expecting premium quality from such a reputed brand.
